have a long lasting companion similar to those of dogs developed by humans. Elves were somehow able to lengthen
the Tanaí cú's lifespan to almost match half of an Elf's, making them practically a lifetime friend for those that live

How do they communicate with others?:
Well, with his owner, he has learned to understand sign language, as they too have a ‘defect’: they’re deaf, so they don’t use words. He also is smart enough he taught himself to write in the dirt, if needed. Jersey uses body language with other Tanai Cu and animals, and taught himself to use other mediums of sound and such. If he wants to play, he’ll play bow, if he wants to eat, he’ll go to his bowls, if he needs outside he’ll hit the bell hanging on the door, etc.

How do they communicate with others?: Through body language. Byrne’s learned how to overexaggerate his expressions just enough to be perceived as more than just emotion. He’s learned how to keep it simple when he wants to indicate something while his emotional range has deepened so as to be easy to read what he’s feeling as well.
Favorite Snack: Apples! He loves the crunch and the sour ones are his absolute fav, even if he can be a bit messy and get the juice all over his fur.

How do they communicate with others?: Ethan can't count on everyone knowing sign language or understanding his body language, especially when it comes to humans. So amongst other tanaí cú he will use his body language, but with people he tends to act like the iconic canine. For example, he scratches at the door when he wants outside or inside. Picks up his empty food dish when hungry or thirsty. However when it comes to other things, he just tends to be rather silent and not bother. Ethan is more of an introvert, and doesn't go out of his way to communicate with others.
Favorite Snack: Honestly, he enjoys to eat raw eggs. It sounds completely and utterly odd, but some people say that eggs help create a healthier and shinier coat. And this boyo is all about his coat. It's his pride and joy, though he isn't above getting it dirty. It's just that having a nice coat makes him feel good about himself.
