"They make them easy to find. My eyes aren't well these days, ironic for my name, but those things make for an easy and rather tasty meal."

Heronwhisker is a bit odd. Never being a talented hunter he was quick to join cats who offered him free food in exchange for his 'undying loyalty'. However afterwards they realized this loyalty including a whole lot of beetles. That's right! Heron only is able to catch insects at this point and seems to enjoy the crunchy things. The clan often pokes fun at him for this, but he proclaims they make really good snacks, if not full meals.

Favorite prey and why: Stormflight's favorite prey to catch are hawks and eagles. Their method of flying seems surreal to him, yet their calls are cocky and provoke jealously. Stormflight loves the thrill of climbing up trees and leaping into the air as though he too had grown a pair of wings. He enjoys the feeling of power as he brings down the large birds to the forest floor, his claws hooked in their wings. Afterwards, the silver tom will pluck out a feather from the birds wing and place it in his fur, reminding himself of his victory. (95)

"Um, I like mice?"
She's always liked the small creatures the most. No feathers to pull off and not too much fur, you know? And she liked the tiny tails, too. Usually it was what she chose to eat every single day.
Yeah, until Smallpaw came around.
The tiny apprentice with the mouse friend arrived and then Wildstar banned the hunting of mice. It was... kind of disappointing for Quailhop? But, as she fidgets before you, she admits that she hunts mice in secret sometimes, far away from the Clan. Tail twitching, she says,
"Don't - don't tell Smallpaw. Please."

Favorite prey and why: Snakes.
The grey tabby tom was finding it difficult to learn how to hunt - especially in the middle of the winter, when the snow caught up in his long fur.
Then he noticed something slithering in the corner of his eye - and, as he whipped around, he saw a small snake; sluggishly moving towards a crack in the rocks.
Remembering how dangerous Stormstar said these could be, he quickly pounced on it; killing it easily. It was bitter. However, the Clan couldn't be picky with food in the winter.
It was his first prey and he potentially saved lives.

- ashenwing loves to feed on bats because of the challenge they bring. He loves to try and catch them mid flight or drop on them from above. He rarely catches one but when he does he shares it with pride.

xxxxxthe water was still and calm.

xxxxxcloudfoot watched, patiently, quietly, the sun reflecting off the water and tossing rays onto his back. he hadn't seen a fish yet, but he knew he would soon.

xxxxxfishing wasn't like hunting other prey it wasn't heart-pumping, exhilarating work. listening only to the wind and watching only the water, made him feel at peace.

xxxxxwhen he swept his paw up and the fish flew in an arc and landed down next to him, it felt like it was an offering to starclan themselves.

xxxxxfishing made cloudfoot feel closer to starclan. and there was nothing more he wanted in his life.

Favorite prey and why: 83/100 Stonerunner’s favorite prey item is simply the rabbit. The elusive and skittish creature is extremely fun to hunt and makes the strong tom think about each move he is about to do, not unlike a game of chess. The rabbit is hard to catch, and you almost always have to use some form of teamwork to catch them. But Stonerunner, being the slightly arrogant cat that he is, tries to hunt them on his own. He enjoys the game of cat and rabbit.
