Three years...
I remember when I somehow stumbled on the species concept and artist search, decided why not and tried out. I remember the first viscet I designed and how I almost fell out of the species, but somehow ended up posting on the fanclub, and I'm so glad I did.
I honestly can't believe it's been 3 years. There has been good times and bad, and so much has changed, but I can't imagine where I'd be without this community. Honestly, I've made great friends here and you guys are so kind and accepting. I've been through a lot but managed to stay strong because of the support I've found here, and I'm so thankful for all of you guys.

I'm so glad I randomly decided to try out for an artist position years ago and stuck with this community, it's what I didn't know I needed at the time. You guys are the best, thank you for a great 3 years and here's to another!

Sappiness aside, I really love how this guy came out!
This contest will be a limited impress me- They seem pretty close with the wyvern on their shoulder... why? Was it always that way? are they a pet? or a partner in crime? Did they save them? or did they make a deal with them? Tell me about their relationship in at least 1,000 words!

The wyvern does have a sketchy reference, as they are scrunched up and a bit hidden. Another note; wyverns are a subspecies of dragon with hind legs, but their 'arms' are their wings, usually with fingers of sorts to be able to grasp and are able to still walk on all 'fours'.

Res with
-comes from clan of wyvern and tamers
-said to have dragon and wyvern's blood in their veins that allows them to communicate telepahtically with the beasts
-Alura was the daughter of the chief (warrior princess basically)
-after a war with a group fo dragon hunters she became the leader of their tribe (with the help of her wyvern companion)
-she obtained her wyvern through the rite of passage of her people
-had to find a wyvern nest and prove her worthiness to the parent wyvern for he right to have an egg
-proved herself and was given an egg of the rarest breen of wyvern
-she hatched and raised her wyvern
-the wyvern, named WIP, is still young, but one day he will be large enough to carry Alura on his back

Terra is the voice in my head. The senseless whispers that compel me to burn and destroy. I found her when I was young and vain and weak.
