monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.
their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another kalon from afar. This
association with other kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

what cheers them up?: oliver cheers himself up on rainy days by curling up on the couch with a blanket, a cup of tea, and a good book! when he's feeling especially upset on a rainy day he turns on some of his favourite classical music! his favourite classical composer probably is beethoven, so the majority of the music he listens to is by him! his favourite pieces by beethoven are für elise, piano sonata no. 14, and symphony no. 9! in all honesty, he probably doesn't listen to classical music if it isn't by beethoven, but he certainly is open to other music genres!

Rainy days spell darkness and dreariness for most people, but not for Iris. By the balcony of her room,
she hangs there with the radio turned on, listening to the broadcasters ramble about the hustle and
bustle of the people during rainy moments. She notices them too, the people who pass by her street,
and realizes what a rainbow of color she sees even during rainy days.



There's red and yellow, that's for a child's raincoat and boots; preschool classes are suspended
for today. Orange is for the basketball and purple for the jersey number of a group of teenagers
running in the rain. Green is the frog croaking since the morning, finding his mate. Blue is the car
that's driving by the street, off to get washed.




It was a game for her, noting what colors she sees from passersby, and her goal was to list at least one
thing per color. It was a way to pass the time during lazy, rainy moments, and it kept her entertained as
she formulated stories for each passerby. It reminds her that, despite the gray colors of the clouds, the
other colors of the rainbow don't disappear; she just has to find them.
