“Everyday without fail I see her walk past, it isn’t her beauty that draws me to her but her freedom. Day by day no matter the weather she walks past and our eyes meet. A scar decorates her shoulder and it only increases her beauty. We speak through the cracked window and she tells me of her life, with each story our bond grows stronger and soon she asks me to leave. My heart races as the thought of freedom slowly overcomes the fear. I watch as she makes a commotion outside and can’t help but become mesmerized by her movements.

With my owner distracted I burst through the door and we speed away. She takes the lead and I can’t help but feel the weight lifted from my shoulders of being locked inside my whole life. I thank the young female and she offers to take me to her clan, she says it will be hard work but I wouldn’t be alone. I agree and certain to her word she is with me every step of the way. Flickerheart is my favorite person, for the freedom she gave me and the strength to make a new life in Mountainclan.”

"Gosh, my favourite cat? I think that'd have to go to Violetwish. She's a pretty little thing with a heart of gold; how could someone not like her? She fixed me right up when I found the clan. Had a massive gouge down my side, you know? It bled everywhere and was real sore. But she slapped some leaves on me and it fixed me right up, good as new. Took a while, but you can't even tell I was in pain now. She's a real nice medicine cat; doesn't like eating before anyone else, makes sure we're all patched up if we get hurt. She has a gleam in her eyes, and I don't know what it is, but I like it. Maybe she's missing someone from her old life? Heh, I'm sure I could heal the hole in her heart if she gave me a change. But nah, she's a medicine cat, can't have a mate anyway. She's just the sweetest thing about the clan and I'm glad to know her." (173 words)

"There never has, and there never will be a cat like Dawnheart again. She was so brave, and kind... and she would put her life on the line j-just like that! Even for strangers! I can never be like her. I know I'm selfish and that I failed to protect her. I've failed time and time again, and through it all she supported me. She picked me up and told me to raise my head up high... whenever I was down low. Now I... I... I don't have that anymore. She's somewhere b-buried under a tree like f-freshkill and there's nothing I could do!"

"T-tiger?" Shadow questioned, but the tom simply growled, his voice shaking as he continued speaking. "She was everything I wanted to be and more, m-my sister. The best hunter. Who is/was their favorite cat?
The tom walked at a brisk pace, his vibrant golden eyes following a long-furred tail that swished back and forth mindlessly, as if the act were not a chore. The tail was mostly brown, individual strands of fur from it poking against Brindleleaf's nose. The tom in front of him frequently stopped, grazing his tail along the chin of newcomers he had not even got a name from yet. Brindleleaf envied the tom, who went by the name Aspencloud. He made it look so.. easy to socialize.

Yet, Brindleleaf admired the tom, and aspired to become capable of walking around, grazing his slick tail along the chins of others, greeting them with smiles and perky soul lifting remarks. It seemed to be so impossible for Brindleleaf himself to accomplish, but to Aspencloud, it seemed to just come to him!

Aspencloud's socializing skills are why he is Brindleleaf's favorite cat; and also the cat he is closest to in Silentclan. The others intimidate him, but Aspencloud? He was free of judgment, free of care, and free of hate. [177 words]
