Longneck Personality: A little awkward, but overall rather social. Enjoys exploring and tinkering with mechanics and things he finds, also quite sassy when needed and quick to sneak a pun into any conversation.
Short Story: Once, when Rouke was young, he'd been out with his sister and found an oddly familiar set of colors on a bird. It was a martial eagle, a majestic beast his fur had seemed to mimic. The siblings watched the bird for some time as it flew about. Eventually, however, his sister began the trek home. With one final glance at the bird of prey, he scampered off to catch up. The eagle never left his mind, however, and eventually inspired him to scurry outside later that night. He climbed atop the small cave he called home and lowered into a crouch, as though to pounce. After a bit of self-encouragement, he leapt, paws waving fruitlessly in the air. Within moments he fell to the forest floor, winded but unharmed. His sister rushed out to investigate the thump, becoming panicked when she spotted her brother on the ground. She immediately began worrying over him, nosing his side gently with her mask. Rouke let out a huff, simply to inform her of his displeased state, and climbed back to his paws. After a bit of scolding of his foolishness and further concern from his sister, he'd thought back to that eagle, and sighed at his inability to fly.
