Saukko are a rather odd mix of an otter, ferret, and feline. They are excellent swimmers and have smooth, slick fur that water can easily slide off of, as well as allow them to move faster in the water. These creatures are relatively small and usually don't grow any larger than your average house cat. Trees are a common home for them, but it varies with each clan, which you can read about down below. As for their diet, it mostly consists of fish and berries. Behavior-wise, Saukko are very playful and mischievous. They love to play tricks, and if their territory is invaded by another clan or by a predator, they will often scare off the intruder using pranks and traps. Saukko are also extremely flexible and agile.

Aldor, being from the Luola Clan, always lived inside these enormous caves that could make people get lost in a hearthbeat.
He wasn't sociable , per se. He liked being alone and in peace, without disturbances around him so he could relax a bit from
the busy life outside his 'peaceful bubble'.

Even as a small pup, Aldor always had a thing for Strawberries. He would get it all over himself and actually would look like he killed something two times his size and that would make people around him 'scared' or even 'impressed', but inside, Aldor liked to think that he was a ferocious warrior who'd fought for his clan and was covered in his enemies bloods....well, but he knew it was just the strawberries he had eaten before. Even when he grew up, he wasn't very fond of these cave fishes and he had the habit to go outside so Aldor could get something else to eat, Strawberries and these wild , sour but still sweet and sugary berries he always found in the bushes around the entrance to the main cave were his favourites. Unlikely to all the other Saukkos from his clan, Aldor really liked to go outside and stay high above the trees, just watching the animals below him and sleeping when he had the chance.






That's how he made a friend from the Puu clan, Halduron, or Haldy, as he insisted that Aldor called him that, even if it was embarassing and Aldor being shy-ish as hell made things a bit difficult. Maybe it was destiny, maybe it was just an coincidence... but Aldor got really, really close to Haldy and got really fond of him , it happened so fast that Aldor still is confused about his feelings towards his friend. They spent hours, if not days, hunting and eating together. They had now favourite places to go, places to explore and animals to play with and to scare when they were feeling like they could prank anyone.

It isn't a mistery that the elder Saukkos from his clan started to fight with him, after all, Aldor was part of a fighting clan and was actually befriending the 'enemy' clan, that made a lot of Saukkos from the Luola clan mad, but in the end, Aldor wasn't feeling threatened and wasn't planning to stop his friendship with Haldy, not now, not ever.

Once among the borders of the Luola clan, in the hard tree line surrounding the entrance of the caves, a mother was made as a small pup was born. It's said that the pup had a glowing halo and hair that was long and untamed. The mother felt that he would have a gift as he grew, a gift such as hunting, with stealth, stamina, speed, and strength. Because of such a gift, she named him Orion, after the constellation of the hunter, in hopes that she would one day be right, and her pup would be a strong and healthy hunter.
Over the years, she watched as Orion grew. He was always a quiet pup, tending more to himself than to the other pups of the clan. It was a good thing though because each time he would interact with other pups, he began to show aggression. Orion would stalk and pounce on the others and bite their necks, then shake them like ragdolls before their mothers could run to the pups aid. That's when his mother noticed though, that his canine teeth were growing at a rapid rate, and by the time he would be a year old they would be jutting out of his mouth. Excellent his mother thought, he was showing the traits of a hunter, and if he continued acting the ways he did he would become a prized hunter of the clan. "Orion" she called one day and watched as the pup stumbled out of a small hole he had been sleeping in. He grumbled in response and eyed his mother, much as a spoiled child does when their parent won't allow them to succeed in bad behavior. " I think it's time I take you out of the caves," his eyes widened and his tail began to flick "under one condition." Orion tilted his ears back and cocked his head slightly "Whats that?" he asked. His mother smiled gently and began to walk into the series of tunnels " You hunt me a rabbit. " Without saying a word, Orion trotted behind her, and soon they were out of the series of caves. "Hunt you a rabbit," he chuckled, "piece of cake" he barked and began smelling the forest air for scents. He started to walk towards various scents before stopping and turning to his mother to ask "What does a rabbit smell like?" He was puzzled, as he had never smelled such a rodent. His mother gave a small chuckle and flickered her tail " musky with a berry undertone. " Orion nodded his head and disappeared into the dense forest brush. His mother waited for what seemed like five minutes before Orion popped his head out of a bush with a small bloodied rabbit, his canines impaling rabbits throat. "Is this good enough for you? " he muttered with his mouth full. Orion's mother smiled and nodded in delight, proud of such a task he had completed. Orion dropped the rabbit and nuzzled up to his mother and they both began to feast upon the dead rodent. As time went by the day turned to night and the two began to gaze upon the stars. "Y'know," his mother began "there's a constellation up there, it's a big strong man with the same name as you... He's a hunter, something I had always hoped you would be." she explained and gazed at her son, whose eyes were wide with twinkling stars reflecting in his eyes. "All I see is a bunch of beautiful stars," he muttered but continued staring. Orion's mother pawed at the sky, pointing towards a series of scattered stars. "He's there, he's the one who gave you all the gifts you have; such as your stealth, strength, and even your big teeth... Promise me you'll be a hunter like him, Orion..." She said and shifted her gaze to her son. Orion thought for a second before slowly nodding his head. At that instant, his halo began to glow, from a dim haze to a bright and twinkling white. "I will mom..." He muttered and began to cuddle her side.
