She is, however, very good at reading the emotions of others, and is easily swayed by them. Typically, she can disengage an argument before it gets very far, and she tends to know just what to say and when to say it. Her ability for reading others is rarely put to use though, and shyness tends to win out with her. Between herself and the braver Halcyon, the herd remains relatively relaxed.
Battle itself is not something she is very useful for. Instead, she is used in the tribe to gentle some of the more aggressive horses. Pairing their aggression with her calm seems to make the other horse rein themselves in some. It is not always a perfect cure, but the overall aggression of the tribe horses is more tame with her around, and she works well to keep them in check with or without her intended help. Her tranquil nature seems to shame the other horses in submission and chagrin, as though they were ashamed to have upset her with their ways.
