Relationship with T'Challa / #514: T'Challa is Kirsi's beloved second cousin. Kirsikka acts just like an older sibling towards T'Challa, though. She acts irritated and angsty whenever he's near and out in public, but in the inside Kirsikka has a soft spot for T'Challa. Kirsi is in a way glad that a relative of hers came along with her when she was declared as unwanted by the Bengal cat breeder. Being lonely upon arriving to the shelter would make Kirsi feel like showing her face would be a waste. Another cat from the breeder that didn't reach the breeder's standards coming here with her made her feel better, so she wouldn't have to feel like she's the only one.
When Kirsi, in her short period of time, was with the Bengal cat breeder, she had very little clue about what T'Challa was. She was somewhat aware that he was her second cousin, but never had much social interaction with him. When Kirsikka started to bond with her second cousin, it was both tiring and awarding. But getting to know a relative of hers so well was brilliant. Kirsi felt a tad bit lucky and a faint feeling of hope when she first found out T'Challa was going to go to the shelter with her, even if she was unwanted by a Bengal breeder.
Kirsi admittedly is jealous upon the fact that T'Challa got adopted before her. Especially by a shelter staff! Besides, look at her beautiful coat! It's stunning, no? Even so, Kirsikka is happy for her second cousin and wishes him a marvelous life with his owner. Kirsi has a hopefully achievable wish of being able to see T'Challa again some time, as he was the first feline that Kirsi ever befriended. But even if her wish isn't successful, Kirsikka will always save a spot in her heart for him.
Relationship with Wish: Kirsi doesn't think highly of this oddly coloured big female. Kirsikka is somewhat wary of Wish, as she's frightened by her six-toe mutation. Although she's only interacted with the timid Maine coon very few times, Kirsi appears to still feel awkward at the sight of the unusual feline. Kirsi is a tad bit jealous upon how graceful Wish seemingly is, though. Wish's long and elegant fur can take away the attention of her toes and make Kirsi envious.
xxxMeeting Wish wrote:Kirsi was comfortably laying down on the hard wood floor, her tail sweeping slowly. Her muscles were relaxed, and her mind calm with gentle thoughts, mainly about what her favourite things were. Silky cushions, warm autumn leaves, and especially her looks.
Gently putting her head down, she rest them in between her two legs. Suddenly, bright orange fur flashed in front of her, the unknown figure running as quick as a bullet from left to right. Taken aback by surprise, Kirsi tumbled to the side slightly, profoundly confused. Kirsi forced herself up, narrowing her eyes and inspecting the loose strands of fur left behind. It was certainly a cat, telling by the scent. But who was it? She frowned, following the scent carefully.
After a few moments of tracking down whoever dashed past her, she was led to a large room with many cat towers and toys. A room she hadn't ventured off to yet. In the corner was a large feline, trembling in fear. They were strangely coloured, an orange fading into a soft white. What really concerned Kirsi was their six toes. Kirsi had never ever seen a cat - or even a dog - with six toes.
"Who are you? What are you doing?" Kirsi questioned, examining the cat she hadn't seen before. Their fur was admittedly honestly quite beautiful - long and feather-like. It almost balanced out the fact that the cat had more toes than normal.
Instead of replying like Kirsi expected, the strange cat simply hopped onto the lowest platform of one of the cat towers, tilting her head at Kirsi. They were still trembling like they were out in the freezing cold for a good few hours. Not exactly a good way to introduce yourself to a pretty cat like me. Kirsikka thought with a half smile.
After a few moments of unneeded staring, the cat finally spoke up. "I'm Wish. N..nice to meet you...?" She stammered, her face filled with unnecessary fear. Was Kirsi that scary? She hoped not.
"I'm Kirs-" Before Kirsikka could fully finish her sentence, Wish leaped off the cat tower and sped off, leaving Kirsi alone. Kirsi felt genuinely offended by Wish's sudden departure, especially when Kirsi didn't even get to finish her sentence. Rude.
Kirsi sighed and walked off.
Relationship with Idris: Kirsi is absolutely sick and tired of the haughty male. Although they are in some ways similar, Kirsi can't stand it when Idris starts boasting about the most stupid things. Kirsi doesn't even get what's so... special about him! After all, he isn't as stunningly beautiful as Kirsikka is. Kirsi tries to avoid Idris at all times possible, and can't get how someone could like such an irritable being like him. Let alone someone who would be romantically interested in him.
xxxMeeting Idris wrote:Kirsikka trotted into the cat room, where she first discovered when she met Wish. Kirsi was confused when she spotted a small cluster of cats. In the center was a male, going on and on about something Kirsi couldn't make out. His words were drowned out by the constant cheers and sounds of amazement from the other cats. Curious, Kirsi walked closer to the commotion that was happening.
"What's happening here?" Kirsi asked in a shout, barging her way to where the male was. It seemed like Kirsi had cut him off, since he had given her an aggressive stern look.
"I was busy telling my fans about my wonderfulness, thank you very much. Now may I continue?" Idris replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Yikes. Sassy. Kirsikka thought with a frown.
"You don't seem all wonderful, mister. In fact, you look rather plain. Take a look at me and you'll see what I mean." Kirsi snapped, ending it off with a loud hiss. The room went quiet. Almost silent. After a few murmurs died down, it was officially silent now. Not a peaceful quiet, but an uncomfortable silence that makes you want to run.
"Hm?" Idris started, breaking off the awkward silence. "All I see when I look at you is a horrible mess. Maybe you should've looked in the mirror before you said that. Always good to check." Idris gave Kirsi a scornful smile, leaving her speechless for a few seconds.
"Who are you, even?" Kirsikka asked more infuriated than she anticipated.
Idris looked offended, but in a fake and mocking manner. "I'm Idris. I'm quite surprised you haven't heard about me, princess." Idris snarled, flicking his tail in anger.
"I mean, you don't even look that attractive." Kirsikka mumbled, so only she could hear. "I'm glad that I didn't know you before. In fact, I quite regret coming across you, pretty boy." Kirsikka meowed.
Without saying anything more, she strutted away.
Relationship with Eveline: Kirsikka can't help but smile at the sight of this patient and motherly female. Eveline vaguely reminds Kirsi of an actual mother, who cares for young kittens. Eveline is quite possibly Kirsi's closest and most beloved friend. Eveline has gotten used to Kirsi's self-adoring ways, and Kirsi appreciates that. Whenever Kirsi is having a rough day, Kirsikka knows to go to Eveline and rant to her. Eveline is one of the few cats Kirsi had told her past about. Eveline was nothing but sweet about it, and it had just built their bond even more. At first, when she first became friends with Eveline, she felt more of a daughter to Eveline. But after bonding with her more and more, she had lost her feeling of a child to her. She had now become a sister.
xxxMeeting Eveline wrote:Kirsikka was sitting on one of the highest cat towers, her chin put proudly up like she was proper royalty. Her tail was limp but gracefully dangling down the platform.
It was like this for a while before a bicoloured, curly-furred female came in, three little kittens closely trailing behind her. None of which looked like her, so Kirsi gave an unsure guess of that those weren't actually her babies.
Kirsikka stayed quiet for a moment, before speaking up. "Hello," Kirsi meowed. "Who are you and who are the furrballs at the tip of your tail?" She asked in a slightly intimidating voice.
Kirsi speaking up all of a sudden must have scared the unknown female, but she quickly calmed down. "I'm Eveline. These precious darlings - which, by a matte of fact, aren't furrballs - are babies of a friend of mine who I volunteered to care for temporarily." Eveline explained in relaxed voice, not bothering to look around to see where Kirsi was. Kirsikka found that slightly strange. After all, Kirsi guessed that Eveline hadn't expected Kirsikka to be here. So Kirsi expected at least some concern in Eveline's voice. Guess not.
"Hello, hello. Eveline, huh? I'm Kirsikka." Kirsi replied, now forcing herself to try and be hidden within the towers and toys. Kirsi wanted to know a little more about the motherly female before revealing herself.
"Nice to meet you, I suppose. Now I should be going. These kids are hungry." Eveline excused herself, strolling out of the room. Their first meeting, Eveline didn't even get to see Kirsi. Kirsi didn't want that to be a true statement. Something about Eveline made Kirsikka feel welcome.
"Wait." Kirsi requested. Determined, Kirsikka carefully hopped down, right next to Eveline. "Hello." Kirsi could see that Eveline gave her a gentle smile. "You may go now." Kirsikka meowed with a nod.
Kirsi watched Eveline leave, feeling achieved.
Relationship with Paz: Kirsi doesn't exactly have a set opinion of the sweet little peacemaker. Paz sometimes will come along when Kirsi is being bitter towards someone, or vise versa, but Kirsi only had a few direct conversations with Paz. Kirsikka, though, easily gets sick of Paz's 'chill' lifestyle. Because, of course, not everyone will get along. But Paz just seems so oblivious to that fact. One time Kirsikka had went and told Paz about that, but all Paz did was shake her head, sigh and leave. Stubborn peacemaker.
xxxMeeting Paz wrote:Right after the time Kirsikka first met Idris, she bumped into a fawn tabby unexpectedly. Kirsi was in a rather bitter mood, and didn't want anything to do with any other cat as of the moment. Especially some weird cat that was decked out in silver chains and rainbow peace signs, which was really uncomfortable and awkward.
"Yo! You had a dispute with Idris, I see?" They asked, making Kirsikka feel way more uncomfortable than she already was. Was this cat she didn't know watching her?
"First of all, who are you? Second of all, I wouldn't call it a... 'dispute', I suppose. More of a... competition to see who could mentally injure the other the most..?" Kirsi answered, unsure of what to say to this strange cat.
"Name's Paz. Paz the Peacemaker." Paz stopped, spinning around so Kirsi could see all of the peace signs decorated on her, which Kirsi already spotted earlier. "But basically a dispute. A fight." Paz meowed sternly, getting excruciatingly close to Kirsikka. "Don't be too hard on Idris. In fact, don't be to hard on anyone. Everyone has a good side." Paz explained.
Somehow I think that's quite false. Kirsi thought with a shake of her head. Especially with Idris in the case. But making a big deal out of it would be immature, so Kirsikka stayed quiet with her thought. "But uh, hey. I'm Kirsikka. And I promise you I'm way better than that Idris jerk anyways. Way more spectacular." Kirsikka claimed with sass.
Paz sighed, gently shaking her head. "You just have to learn, youngling." Paz spoke in a wise tone. Kirsikka hissed softly. There were clearly several things wrong with that sentence.
"All right, Peacemaker dear. One, do I look young? Just because I'm a year or two younger doesn't mean I'm a 'youngling'!" Kirsi snarled. Kirsi saw Paz flatten her ears slightly. Kirsikka felt a tinge of satisfaction at the sight. "And two, I'm not horribly dumb." Kirsikka opened her mouth to say more, but Paz beat her to it.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold your horses, miss. I'll leave you be for a bit. But remember - Paz the Peacemaker. I'll be there to help." Paz offered. With that, she slid away, leaving Kirsi feeling relieved. But obviously, Kirsikka was most definitely going to call on the troublesome peacemaker.
That 'peacemaker' look was the opposite of what Kirsi truly received from her first impression.
Relationship with Calla: Despite being Idris's significant other, Kirsi doesn't completely hate Calla as much as she hates Idris. Calla is still sometimes a horrible feline to listen to, but even so, Kirsikka had somehow befriended the posh female. Kirsikka had found that they're quite similar. Both obsessive over their looks and a flirtatious cat. Kirsikka and Calla mainly talk about fashion trends, but other than that they're not much. Kirsi is still utterly confused upon the fact of how Calla managed to find a liking to the bothersome male, also known as Idris. But Kirsi guesses that Calla has her reasons, even if they're odd.
xxxMeeting Calla wrote:Kirsikka was curled up in her bed, drowning herself in her own fur. She was oddly tired today, and wanted nothing more but to sleep. But unfortunately her mind refused to go to rest.
After a few quiet moments of Kirsi's breathing pattern, two cats started to walk by her. One of which, was Idris, and Kirsi felt sour instantly. The other cat was a female she had never laid eyes on before, but Kirsi could tell that she was spoiled. The unknown feline had smoothly brushed fur, a proper and ladylike posture, with a gentle and capturing laugh. Her paws were gentle underneath the floor, and the female had no trouble with her walking.
Kirsikka could almost immediately tell that Idris and the cat she didn't know were mates, or at least crushing on each other, which made Kirsi feel awfully disgusted. After all, who would want to be mates with the ignorant male, Idris? Definitely not Kirsi.
It was a while before the strange female noticed Kirsi. They smiled a pretty and diva smile at Kirsi. Kirsi frowned back. Idris noticed the Bengal as well, and didn't hesitate to give Kirsi an aggressive glare.
"Hello, dearie! Haven't seen you around, lovely. I'm Calla. And this is my wonderful mate Idr-" Calla introduced herself, but Idris cut her off at the part where she was beginning to say his name.
"Idris. This idiot already met me before. Come on, sweetie. She's nothing important." Idris mumbled in a gruff voice, urging Calla to follow him. But Calla shook her head and walked closer to Kirsi.
"Don't listen to him. But what's your name? You have such a beautiful coat, though!" Calla exclaimed, sounding horribly and obviously fake. Kirsi wanted to slap Calla in the face with her tail. But she kept herself from doing so.
"Thanks... I'm Kirsikka." Kirsikka replied more bitterly than she wanted. Please take a hint and simply leave me alone. Kirsi pleaded in her head, frowning at Calla yet again.
Luckily, Calla smiled then left with Idris. And that's all what Kirsi wanted in that moment.
Relationship with Alcides: A clone of Idris, personality wise, but less annoying and way more charming. Kirsikka admires his courage and bravery, and thinks of him as a knight in shining armor - just a little more self-loving. Kirsikka admits that Alcides is quite the handsome fellow, but would do horrid in a romantic relationship. Kirsikka tries her best to ignore Alcides's big ego, but it always ends up showing no matter how hard Kirsi tries to push it out. Even so, Kirsi is convinced that Alcides hates Kirsi, mostly because of what happened with Kirsi and Alcides first met.
xxxMeeting Alcides wrote:A scratched and worn out mouse toy laid between Kirsi's paws, covered in a scent that Kirsi didn't know. Kirsi was getting bored, and a quick play with the toy was quite tempting. Besides, who would still want to keep such a torn and colourless toy?
Kirsi unsheathed her claws, then dug into the toy. It made an unnaturally loud squeaking sound, which made Kirsi flinch a bit. She dug into it more, making big claw holes on it.
After a few heartbeats, a brown and white male shot towards her, making Kirsi lose her balance and painfully tumble over. The unknown cat pinned her to the ground, hissing loudly, almost past Kirsi's breaking point.
"How dare you play with that?" The male snarled in a fierce voice, slowly letting Kirsikka go. Kirsikka tilted her head in confusion.
"Why do you still own that nasty thing? It's practically torn and unusable now." Kirsikka grumbled, shaking her head with a sassy and deceiving face. Stupid tom. Who does he think he is? Kirsi thought with an sullen frown.
"Seriously?" They roared, getting uncomfortably close to Kirsi's face. "That was a gift from my best friend. It means too much to me, but apparently means nothing more than a speck of dirt to you! You nasty flea brain!" They growled, their piercing blue eyes going right through Kirsi's own eyes.
"Yikes, bud. How was I suppose to know?" She meowed, hissing as well. It was a deafening moment of hisses in return, and the occasional threatening unsheathing claws.
"I mean, it's got my scent all over it, no?" He finally replied, backing up and giving Kirsi a harsh death stare.
"Well, whatever. I'm leaving now, so see you never ever, Mouse." Kirsi claimed. Kirsi was clearly fuming over the disrespectful feline whilst trying to contain herself and not physically attack him.
"All right. Leave. But never call me Mouse again, got it, princess?" They demanding, giving Kirsi a ferocious, violent glare.
But before Kirsikka could answer, she left. Stupid furrball.
Relationship with Hua: Kirsikka finds the one eyed, shy but motherly feline quite adorable, like watching a cute little puppy play with a toy. Watching Hua, especially when her protective side roars, urges Kirsikka's protective side to come out too. Kirsikka mainly watches Hua from afar, never really talking to her, as Hua is somewhat like Wish and is highly shy at the sight of cats she doesn't know that well. It was mainly the first time Kirsi say Hua is when they really met without Hua skittering off. Kirsi is, in a way, bothered by that fact. But even so, Kirsi respects Hua.
xxxMeeting Hua wrote:Kirsi was half awake half asleep in her bed. The fuzzy warmth around her made her feel safe and protected, but she was struggling to sleep. She heard an annoying amount of hissing somewhere, as well as yells and yowls. Kirsikka couldn't make out what was happening, but probably an argument.
With a weary sigh, she got up and groggily trudged to where the ruckus was coming from. After turning a single corner, she spotted Eveline with her three kittens she was looking after, and a beautiful short furred brown tabby that Kirsikka had never seen before.
Kirsikka got closer, only to see that Idris was in front of the two, his sharp claws unsheathed and shouting something Kirsikka couldn't exactly make out. But even just seeing Idris Kirsikka knew it wasn't going to be a pretty aftermath.
"What's happening here?" Kirsi asked in a shout, silencing the three hissing cats and three noisy kittens within moments. They all stopped and turned towards the Bengal, Kirsikka suddenly feeling uncomfortable. She shook her head and tried to make herself look as proper as she could in the silent moments, without making it obvious she was doing so.
Kirsi noticed it took a while for Eveline to register that Kirsi was the cat before them, but when she realized Eveline immediately flashed her a smile. "Kirsikka! Don't mind us. Idris is just... being horribly rude towards these three. Luckily, Hua here is helping me get Idris out of my sight. But like the ignorant idiot Idris is, he's not budging." Eveline explained, shooting Idris malicious looks every few words. Kirsi guessed that the tabby she didn't know what Hua.
"Excuse me?" Idris snarled, ending his two words with a head shake. "Oh whatever. You imbeciles don't get how truly amazing I am." Idris meowed, flicking her tail with a wicked, which made Kirsi's bitterness towards him increase.
"An imbecile." Hua echoed, narrowing her eyes. "Do I need to grab you a mirror, Idris?"
Idris's face was blood red in anger. Without saying anymore, he stormed off.
"Good job, Hua!" Eveline laughed. Hua simply laughed back in reply. Kirsi smiled at Hua and sauntered in nearer to Eveline, Hua and the three kittens Eveline was caring for.
Hua had really taught Idris a lesson.
