Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.
Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Personality: Pari has always had a deep and abiding fascination with the water. His ayllu (family clan) believes this is due to the fact that he almost drowned as a kit. It was such a miracle that Pari survived and flourished after his 'almost' tragedy that the curaca (chief) named him after the god of rainstorms and water. Instead of developing aquaphobia, from that day onwards Pari had a deep respect and appreciation for Mama Pacha and her creations. He was often heard saying; "You must respect Mama Pacha, if you do not she will surely put you in your place". Some say he is quite hypocritical for scolding others in this way because it is a well-known fact that Pari is a thrillseeker and has built many a raft over the years and ridden them down various waterfalls. Luckily for Pari, his extreme adventuring has left nothing more than scratches and bruises which leads everyone to believe that he is indeed beloved of his namesake. Though Pari is happy-go-lucky and somewhat irresponsible he is also extremely ambitious and through sheer determination and hard work has earned his place as one of the Sapa Inca's (king's) army officers after his superior showmanship at a Warachikuy festival. Most of his earnings are passed onto his home village and although sometimes war is distasteful and heartbreaking, Pari believes that the end justifies the means. When Pari's duties become too much for him, he takes the time to escape into the rainforests and swim in the local lakes and rivers to find peace.
