Erebus is a interesting fellow that is quite special. He isn't your average pillowtail instead he is quite different and one of a kind. He for the most part keeps to himself. But he isn't afraid to speak his mind. Erebus has bonds with few others but those who he does bond with it's for life. He is very intelligent and is very creative. Most would describe him as clever, witty, introvert, and caring. However, Erebus can also be seen as partly insane. He often sees things others don't see and thinks that spirits haunt his every move.

Short Story

Erebus has always been interested in Sci-fi stuff. He grew up listening to his parents talk about their work to making things like a time machine. As he grew he became more and more interested. He didn't get into the paranormal side till one faithful day. It was the day he lost both of his parents. Erebus' heart shattered, his parents where his whole world. Erebus became obsessed with trying to contact his parents. He learned everything he could and spent hours researching while keeping his parents work alive. He would barley sleep and eat. He ignored everyone in his life and just dug himself into his work. Then one day he had fallen asleep while working when he heard a voice calling out to him.

"Erebus..."

Erebus woke up and looked into the darkned hallway and say two brightly glowing eyes. Below was a snarky pearl white smile. Most would have been afraid but Erebus had never feared the unexplained. He slow got up and took a few steps closer to the figure. The figure’s eyes grew in size and it slowly whispered

“Erebus... File 22-11-3.”

The figure then smiled and faded away. Erebus wondered what it could mean, “file 22-11-3?”

It then came to him, he remembered when he was very young his parents talking about it. It was spouse to change the world. It was the invention that would allow you to connect with your loved ones that had passed. They had talked about this project eagerly for a while but then stopped. When he had mentioned it this parents would just tell him it had failed. He went down into the basement and into a secret room of his parents. There he saw it. It was in a protected case under a few other boxes. He opened it and saw a note. The note was written from his father and it read,

To Who it ever might concern,

This device must NEVER be used under any circumstances, for it might bring back those you love. But the horrors that will forever follow you... they are unspeakable.

Erebus was horrified, he could hardly believe the note in front of him. Had his beloved parent’s used his device which lead to there deaths? Could he actually use this device?

The figure would come back many times to haunt Erebus into using it. It did eventually drive him up the wall. Then on Hallow’s Eve Erebus used the device. There before him where his parents but.. the madnesses began to courpt his brain like a poisonous venom. He still continues to use the device for talks with his parents even though they beg him not to. Erebus is addicted to the madness and it has become a part of him.
