Username: ~HєуRєι~
Name: Lennie
▷Why?: The name of the bunny is a reference to a character in the book, Of Mice and Men, written by John Steinbeck. The character's name is Lennie Small, with his travelling companion, George Milton.
Gender: Male
How do they manage with all of that fur?: Lennie likes to keep his soft fur clean, often cleaning it himself, or letting others do it if they want to. However, sometimes he can be seen rubbing up against items or creatures with barbs, like a brush and, at one point... a hedgehog. He's not the brightest but he at least remembers to keep his lovely fur and ears clean, usually petting his own ears because "it feels nice", according to him. He doesn't seem to mind the fur in front of his eyes, they don't do much to his sight funnily enough. In fact, he can get around quite well most of the time.
Relationship: ▷Johnny; "Lennie is kinda.. weird. I mean, I can't be around him much because of.. me often chasing rodents.. sometimes cats, but I don't think Lennie would run from me even if I tried to get him to. He's just kinda.. weird." (partial negative)
▷Kali; "He's so cute! I jus' wanna cuddle the fluffy cutie pie! He's a lil' on the weirder side, but thats alright! He's just a sweet lil' guy." (positive)
▷Anastasia; "I'm not a huge fan. He's just.. too dumb for me. Was that mean? Sorry, I just.. don't know how to describe him... and all he talks about is his "friend" George. And he won't stop.. touching me, saying i'm "mighty soft"." (partial negative)
▷Thor; "He's.. alright. He's cute and fluffy, fun to cuddle with too, but there's something kinda.. off about him. Nothing against him though." (neutral)
More about Lennie: Lennie is a total sweetheart, though he isn't the brightest. He will often stumble over himself, play with other pet's toys (ending up destroying them) or simply forgetting to eat at points where he is fed. Sometimes he'll even try to play with string like a cat, which is quite adorable and entertaining to watch. He isn't the most observant, mostly due to the fur in his face, so he often runs into his enclosure walls, or into corners going to hallways, or even running into other pets while hopping somewhere. Despite his little quirks he loves to be around the other pets, and even apologizes after bumping into them or doing something wrong, even if it wasn't towards the pet/s around him. He loves to touch anything soft, even his own fur. However, what he loves the most is his owner's blankets... and Anastasia's fur.. though she doesn't like him around much. Soft things mostly just calm him, or keep him in a calm sense of mind. It basically makes him feel good to pet soft things (sorta like a therapeutic object i suppose). He is a lot more of a pacifist, and in fact will let himself get beat up when someone is trying to hurt a person he cares about. He often uses himself as a wall, though he'll run if the aggressor is too large or powerful compared to him.
Who is George?: ▷According to Lennie: From what Lennie has said, George was a good friend of his that has "Always stuck with me in hard times". He says that he doesn't remember how he met George, only that he stuck with him until a few days before he got to the shelter, when he suddenly disappeared. Lennie hopes that George is alright, but thinks maybe that he'll see him again one day. For now, he has the rest of the property animals to keep him strong and safe. Lennie says that George looked like a small, dog with fur the color of dry grass, which was curled, covered in mud and small twigs. George's tail curled a bit when he wagged it and his ears were floppy, with a small tear in one of them.
▷The Truth: George never truly existed, he was made up in Lennie's mind when he felt lonely. He was a bit different from his litter-mates, and was very distant from them most of the time. Before he went to his previous owner, he wasn't very well taken care of by his breeders, nor his mother. When he was allowed to stretch his legs outside, he somehow came up with a sort of hallucinated dog named George. It was his way to cope with being lonely and scared in his neglected state. We don't know how his hallucination was so detailed in his mind, but it has been discovered that there were no dogs seen around him when the previous owners had him.
