the basics
Whispering Grove Belgian Warmbloods are a branch off of the Belgian warmblood breed of horse. Belgian warmbloods started to emerge in the 1950's, when European law allowed for their breeding. They are best known for their abilities in showjumping and dressage, as well as being of wonderful temperament. Whispering Grove Belgians, or WGBWs, are Belgian warmbloods bred with appaloosas and American paint horses to keep the temperament and build of the warmblood while adding the patterns and even more sporting ability from the paints and appaloosas. WGBWs make excellent sporting horses, but also great pleasure horses because of this crossing.
