personality// Tobias has never really been a social viscet. Often he spends his time alone, as he can't handle being around others. If you were to talk to him, often he is rude and shows no emotions. The one thing he can't control is his temper. He is too proud to admit it but his patience is short and his temper is even shorter. He's defiant usually and runs his mouth, using sarcasm and brooding silence to scare people off. Secretly he likes spending time with others and cares for them, but it's hidden beneath his tough act, along with the rest of his emotions. He is tough, for sure, just not always and he sometimes portrays himself as tougher than he is. Once you get him to trust you (which is honestly not likely) he is extremely loyal and would go to the ends of the earth to protect you and the ones he loves. But first you have to crack his tough shell, because under it is a kind misunderstood soul who just doesn't want to get hurt.

prompt// Tobias has a dangerous secret. He possesses immense powers, not passed down through his family, but gained. It'd been a cold winter day when smoke rose into the air. Curious, young Tobias ventured towards it. He thought it was extremely odd to have fire burning in the winter, none the less in a snow storm. Shaking the snowflakes that had clung to his fur, he approached. There was one flame, burning and swirling in an orb. It seemed to almost hover above the snow. He reached out, poking the orange globe of fire. Then there was a crash, like thunder, and a blinding light. He'd woken up hours later, passed out in the snow, yet not cold. Confused, he'd stood up, and thats when he noticed his breath. Instead of frosty fog, a grey smoke had floated into the winters air. Panicked, he looked around, to notice his chest and paws. They were glowing, a orange hue that seemed to crackle with power. From that day on, he learned to control his power, as well as realizing that others were not to know about it. Before he could control it, he displayed his power in front of another by an accident, and they had freaked out and called him a monster. They'd rallied the town and chased him out, scared and thinking they were better off without a 'monster'. Now he rarely loses control, as he'd spent months in the mountains alone, rallying his power and discovering the extent of how far he could push himself, as well as mastering the abilities that came with it. His power includes exhaling fire, staying warm in subzero temperatures, setting himself on fire (without burning himself of course), unable to be burnt, and making fire light up in his paws. While he used to like swimming, now its his enemy, his weakness. Water became his greatest fear as it not only weakens his power, but his energy as well. When the fire took over his body, it became his main energy source and the longer he has the more it settles into his mind and soul. He's not as bad in snow, as its frozen, but obviously he doesn't like when it melts. Now he just prays no one discovers his secret, as its harder for him to control once he loses his temper, which is often.
