Explanation: David is a dogon of deep and profound thoughts. It stems from his close relationship with his grandmother ( he called her Nana). When he was young they would sit under the stars and she would tell him story's about each constellation and even make up a few. Then she got sick he stayed close to her. When she passed away he promised himself that one day he'd tell her stories to his own kids and grand kids. The song has a long calm instrumental intro before the lyrics start. I imagine David just a pup staring up at the stars beside an elderly dogon then as it plays you watch his Nana get sick until she fades away and he starts to sing the lyrics of the song, still staring up at the night sky.

Explanation: Meridia loves her life and her friends, but misses her old life. She often dreams of going back to her original home and seeing her old town, and she had moved when she was in her teen years. She often remembers her years there growing up there and what happened, and enjoys the good old memories. She misses her old friends but has heard they haven't been doing well and strives to go back and help them in any way she can. She is leaving soon to go back and is excited about finally going to her true home for good.
