What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

What makes you relaxed?: enjoying the night breeze and looking up into the sky. I love how the cool air smells unusually fresh, and it's really soothing. I remember on a trip in China, I was on a ferry, and I went up to the top to cool off. wow, not only was the sky dappled with stars, they were all so bright and mesmerising. I don't get to see a lot of stars where I live, so it was a pleasant surprise. but nonetheless, even watching the clouds travel across the night sky, feeling the cool breeze, it somehow takes away all anxiety and stress, and for that moment, my mind gets really clear.

They pretty much take me to a new world, and make me forget about the problems I'm having. I can gush about my favorite character, or reread a favorite scene, anything that stood out in the book, I can read and feel better. Nothing relaxes me more than reading outside by my pool on a beautiful day.

What makes you relaxed?: There are a few things that relax me. Music, reading, playing piano, horses and star-gazing are most of them. But the most prominent is actually have a place I've imagined countless times in my head. Ive never actually been there or seen it, I just made it up. I always pretend I'm there when I want to calm down. It's this little circular meadow surrounded by tall trees, yet open to the sun above. The grass is long and soft, and a slight breeze is always blowing. I've imagined it as little hidden paradise that only I can find, and it even changes with the current season in reality. There's always birds singing too. There's a certain song that I always listen to while imagining I'm there, called Spring Charm. I could never quite find a picture to match and I can't draw at all, so I guess it'll always just be in my head.
