Welcome to the Pocket Pythons Nursery! Here, we specialize in both natural and stem-cell breedings, which means that all genders can breed with one another. The rules and process for breeding your snakes can be read below. Please read all of these to ensure that you are certain of what to expect and how it works!

Rules:
1. Unless both snakes are owned by you, you must have a quote of permission from the owner(s) to breed the snakes. A screenshot of a message or a post from the user(s) will suffice.
2. Link to the snake's main page, not just the image or to a breeding thread.
3. No inbreeding. Though snakes may be commonly inbred, we would prefer to avoid any complications in the gene pool, and would prefer to avoid it.
4. Be patient. Do not pester the artists about the time spent. If there is an honest concern that it has been forgotten, please message me and I will contact the artist.
5. If snakes are not claimed with an owner, a name and a gender by 3 weeks after being hatched, they will be adopted out. Any issues or concerns with this rule should be discussed with me or the artist of the breeding.
6. Snakes must have a designated owner, and at least a gender on their main page to be bred.
7. For right now, the only limits on breedings are that one user cannot have more than 1 active breeding at a time, and that one snake cannot be in more than 1 breeding at a time. Until all eggs are hatched in the current breeding, you may not submit another.
8. Breedings will only be accepted when the nursery is open.

Things to Know Before Breeding:
1. Breedings will be claimed by the artists quoting them and claiming them. Please keep up with this thread afterwards or specifically ask for a PM one the breeding is made to know when it is up.
2. Breedings will have 1-6 eggs if both of the snakes are owned by you, or if both snakes are not owned by you. If one snake is owned by you and one not, there will be 2-6 eggs, to help ensure each person gets at least one.
3. The number of eggs will be determined using a random number generator. The guide can be found below:

1: 1-10 (10%)
2: 11-25 (15%)
3: 26-42 (17%)
4: 43-67 (25%)
5: 68-87 (20%)
6: 88-100 (13%)

4. All breedings will be realistic, with the snake's genes being taken into account.
5. If you wish to adopt out any hatchlings, they can be handed over to the staff to adopt out or hosted by you.
6. Snakes are unable to breed until they have been on the adult lines for at least a week.
7. Eggs will hatch in 3-5 days after being laid, with 3 being optimal. If juvenile is requested, they will be in the juvenile stage for 7 days or slightly less.
