#58 Khimaira Friesians - Dragon Born Event- Custom

Postby demonthief. » Thu May 25, 2017 3:09 pm

What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Discovery:

As our tour of the Yellow Mountains of China
began, we started to hear more rumors from
our guides that we might see an elusive stallion.
The tales we heard spoke that he was marked
with that of a dragon. This we could not
believe, but we're anxious to see this mysterious
horse. He was why we were here in the first
place. After treking high in the mountains after
this horse, we continued to hear more tales of
him, some that he could change color. This new
information we knew could not possibly be true
but we continued on, excited to discover this stallion
and try to understand what exactly these people
were trying to tell us.
It wasn't long until we found ourselves in a glade-like
clearing, high in the mountains. This is where
we saw him. He was found alone, standing in and
drinking from a warm natural spring. This horse
was not at all frightened by the sight of humans as
he had never been chased or harmed by people
and had no reason to be afraid. As we began to
film him, he gracefully lifted his head to look at
us, but payed us no mind. He was a breathtaking
sight, the rumors we heard of his coat were true.
He was marked with scales along his back, horns,
and a long whip-like tail. His mane looked ragged,
but still silky smooth. He was beautiful, graceful,
and independent. We could also see that he was
spirited and strong willed.
Soon it became apparent to us that he was not
alone. He began to look past us for something.
Though we couldn't see anything around us, we
continued to film this stallion, and a few more moments
lapsed and near us from between the trees came
another one. Though this stallion was a lovely creamy
white, his scales were a faded blue and brown. At first
we thought he was a type of grey, but further
inspection discovered that he was indeed cream. He
was quiet, reserved, and almost cautios as he approched.
We watched these completely opposite, but
completely identical stallions for hours, filming their
intimate interactions with eachother. The first stallion
almost seemed more rebellious and wild compared
to the other. They seemed so comfortable
and composed with eachother, they definitely
matched. When we spoke with the guides, they told
us that the stallions had no names. They were so
elusive that no one had really seen them, only caught
glimpses of one or the other. They granted us permission
to name the pair. The first stallion we decided for his
rebellious and bold nature to call Atrox. The
second we named Pirate. The names seemed
to fit them so perfectly we watched these stallions
touch and socialize with eachother as the sun began
to set. Soon it was time for us to leave, but we had
successfuly filmed these two beautiful horses and we
could now show the world how peaceful this pair
was together.
