I love this babu and I love the idea I had for them. Their design is wonderful and wispy and yet solid at the same time? Just perfect from hat to tail!

But there comes a time in every babusagi owner's life when the limit is almost reached, and that time is now. I don't have the time to devote to this lil one and give 'em the love and attention they deserve. So they're going to make someone else very happy!

Yes that's right my friends, it's spring cleaning time both for me and this babu- so to win them I want you to tell me what they're going to do with their heavy old hat now that it's spring time!

Will they keep it on? Will they store it with mothballs? Will they decorate it with flowers?

what they are doing with the hat come spring: Nox keeps his hat on. It's his comfort object, and he can't do anything without it. Even as winter fades and snow turns to sunshine, Nox still wears the hat. It makes him feel loved and safe, and also keeps his ears warm (although it's already warm outside). He never takes off the hat because without it, he feels scared, alone, and invisible. Although it may be warm and cheerful, Nox's hat always remains firmly planted on Nox's head, jammed down over his floppy ears.

what they are doing with the hat come spring: "It is spring cleaning, not spring Dirtying!" Was the sound of a angry babu infront of a dirty hat. This was the tale of Vern a Babu who shouldnt had used their Hat.

"It is spring cleaning, not spring Dirtying!" Was the sound of a angry babu infront of a dirty hat. This was the tale of Vern a Babu who shouldnt had used their Hat.

It was spring cleaning and it was Vern's job to gather all the compost and dirt to carry to the park for the new community garden, Vern began shoveling up some dirt he had found at a forest nearby and put it into one of the beige colored Potato sacks that Vern had out. Vern was told he needed to fill 5 Potato Sacks and although Vern didn't like that job, he did it anyway. Vern just about had all his Potato Sacks filled when he realized one was smaller than the others and the project organizer wanted a precise amount of dirt. Vern was annoyed that they gave him a Pillowcase instead of a potato sack, it made Vern think that it was done on purpose. With this, Vern had to find some thing to hold the rest of the dirt, until he had the idea of using his hat. He didnt want to do it but he had felt he had to. So he began balancing the soil filled hat on his head, carrying potato sacks behind him. And then he bumped into Violetcia and spilt all the dirt from the hat. This embarrassing incident changed the hat's purpose and made it more than just a hat.

Lunarchy I really loved your concept of Nox never being able to give up his hat- it was cute and told me a whole lot about his personality! And your diction was very poetic and captured my attention~
My Horse Rocks, unfortunately you didn't finish but I loved the sketch you had going! Dream looked really cute!
And finally Trash Fan. Your entry was a treat to read, it a was very witty and fun adventure- poor Vern needs a hug and a good dry-cleaners!
