Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

Looks like all of the bread is gone. ;u; The same volunteer who brought the workers bread picked these two up off the streets for us! They're strays, but loved strays nonetheless. They both look surprisingly healthy!

This'll be a simple round based elimination comp! Nothing too strenuous. It'll only go on for a few days at most, and consist of only simple requirements each round with a chance to add extras if you wish.

How do they act when alone?: It's their time to shine.. but alone! Joey will run around like the whole place is their beloved playground. He'll jump over trash bins, run through papers, and scatter their toys all around the room. Nothing's better than a messy room. In fact, Joey feels more comfortable when the room's just.. chaos. When it's a big mess, he's starts to act like some sort of commander and demand that all his toys must go into "battle". It's all fun until someone comes to see his massive wreckage...

How do they act when alone?:
Well, when she is alone...Mindy has this habit of ripping up toilet paper, if the bathroom door is left open, and the humans are not around. She's almost like a cat in this, as it's the cats that are always doing so. She also seems a bit more leery of strangers and withdrawn if no one, or dog, else is around. She will back into corners, bark at the smallest things, and just sort of act a little weird. She loves people, it's true, but when she is on her own she just gets into this really weird state of being...Nobody can really explain why she does it, maybe it has something to do with the situation she came out of.

Quirk: This love has an obsession with rolling pins. Yep rolling pins! They love to collect them, hide them and stack them but stacking them isn't very easy when they have a round and smooth surface and, well, are meant to roll. They will sometimes roll them down a hill and roll and stubble after them, before going back up and going back down again. They also love to roll the rolling pin up and down their belly before falling a sleep, usually right at the top of their collection, thus giving a heart attack to anyone who sees this love precariously perched at the top.

Quirk: This sweet heart loves to stick their head in bread bins and tries to sleep in them. However, they're a bit too big and just look like you've constructed your pet wrong as body parts stick out everywhere. They don't care, though. If they can't manage to fit inside your new bread bin, they will carry it with them everywhere until this clumsy loaf drops it. They usually drop it in whatever you are making for dinner, so say goodbye to your food and your bread bin.
