Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?


- These two dogs were surrendered by different families to us. The Dalmatian mix came from a family who owned 5 Chihuahuas. They had adopted him but couldn't keep up with his energy. He loves small dogs but can be intimidated by larger ones.

- The Pomeranian came from a couple who had bought her online. They surrendered her to us because she climbed onto everything. This cutie loves to hop up onto couches, chairs, tables and windowsills. Anything that is high up works for her!

Ok, these cuties are my first adopts !! I'm super excited to be an artist for Second Chance Shelter and I hope the community enjoys my designs ! Feel free to try out for both, or just one ! Partnering up is fine !

why does she like to be in high places ? : res with she actually doesn't, but her friend here is an exception. It allows her to see higher, get to the kitchen counter to steal them treats, and at the beach/on a rainy day avoid the water. Hates being wet.

personality : Butterscotch is the opposite of Cinnamon. Butterscotch is very outgoing, and is has a typical dog personality. He likes being with her, but isn't too shook up if separated from her. He treats her more as a friend than a sibling. He is protective of Cinnamon, but Cinnamon is more protective of him. He doesn't like Cinnamon's puns and jokes.

why does she like to be in high places ? : Cinnamon has always feared sinkholes, and she feels like being high up will protect her. She is also self-conscious of her height.
