Dinzis are very thin, furless dog like creatures. It isn't well known where they came from, but they have a heart of gold towards humans. Their third eye is made to be able to see anything and everything, causing them to see thousands and thousands of colors we can't, but this also protects their sight from the sun. Their tails have formed into a small cloud of.. something? It can be water, juice, stardust, really anything that doesn't have a set shape. The small sparkling things on there are very mysterious.. maybe the nursery can tell us more? No matter what their tail is made up of or if they can see more colors or not, they'll always be loyal to you, assuming you treat them right. Will you adopt one today?

Chaac Kamohoalii Carcinus
[Pronounced Chalk Camo-Hoe-Uh-Lee Car-Sin-Us]
Chaac (Also spelled as Chac or Chaahk) is the name of the Mayan rain deity. He had a lightning axe, and with it could create thunder and rain when he struck the clouds.
Kamohoalii is the name of the Hawaiian shark god. He would swim in the area around the islands of Maui and Kahoolawe, and if a ship got lost, he would shake his tail in front of the ship. A kahuna ("priest, sorcerer, magician, wizard, minister, expert in any profession") would feed him kava and Kamohoalii would then guide the ship home.
Carcinus is a Latinized form of the Greek word Καρκινος (Karkinos), and is one of several names for the Cancer constellation. Karkinos is the name of the giant crab from one of the Twelve Labors of Hercules. When Hercules was sent to fight the Lernaean Hydra, Hera sent Karkinos to distract Hercules during the battle. Some versions of the story say Hercules kicked the crab into the sky, others say that Hercules crushed it under his feet, and Hera gave the crab a place in the sky to show her gratitude for its effort.

Singing karaoke
Chaac loves to spend his evenings going out and heading to
any place hosting a karaoke night. He enjoys hearing dinzis of
all different voices and skill levels sing various songs, and loves
to participate in these performances himself. There's just one
little issue. He's...er...not the best at singing in tune, to put it
lightly. He has a great memory and knows all the lyrics by heart,
and his timing is perfect, he just can't hit the notes all that well.
There have been numerous dinzis who have mentioned this to
him in a less than kind manner, but their words could never
dampen his enthusiasm. He keeps practicing and keeps going.
Chaac sings while bathing, he sings walking down the road,
he sings everywhere you let him and even some places you don't.
He's made some improvement, but not much yet. It's his dream
to one day be a famous singer, or even to start his own band.
He's even already come up with a name for this future band!

Chaac is a rather energetic Dinzi, and doesn't let life
get him down! He's very talkative, and tends to speak very quickly.
So much so that other Dinzis often have to ask him to slow down
or repeat what he said. It doesn't bother him though, and he's
happy to oblige. He knows that some Dinzis are annoyed by this
tendency to talk too fast or talk too much, or view him as being
too childish, but Chaac doesn't let it bother him. He prefers to look
on the bright side of life, though he does still acknowledge the dark.
He's a very friendly Dinzi, and is very loyal to those he considers
his friends. He's very ambitious, and once he sets his mind to
something, he works hard to make sure it gets done.
