What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Rune longs for one thing, one person who left him long, long ago. He understands that it was not the fault of anyone, that it was simply nature's course, but he still feels alone without the constant companionship and bond he forged with an aging broodmare; the mare guided him in times of strife, showed him that happiness was an easier path to travel and anger would leave him hurting more than another. Rune was grateful for the wizened mare, and he rarely left her side while her health deteriorated as time passed. And even after all her teachings, after wishing her good luck in her next life, an emptiness swarmed him soul deep. He has companionship, but it is empty to him without the mare's soft assurances next to him, and Rune has become more introverted as the years came and went. He reminds me of a demon in the shadows; his coat is lite up like your trying to shine some light on him, but his gold eyes just staring at you threw darkness like in the video ^^ His slight skull marking makes me think of that part of the video where the skulls are talking. I just imagine him walking threw a stormy field tossing his head fearless and as soon as the song starts he shifts his gate to a trot so hes moving to the beat of the song, when the chorus comes he rears and bursts into a run, jumping and kicking out. when he stops he puts his head down and throws it up, snorting as loud as he can as if he owns the stormy night.
