What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

why this photo?
This beautiful beast reminds me of the Prideful yet Selfless Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. In this specific picture Darcy looks tired and this horse has red eyes, and is wear the same colors this lad is wearing. Darcy is also a rich fellow so the halter fits him very well resembling his wealth.

why this photo?
His coloration reminds me of how when you dip a paint brush tipped in black watercolor, or ink, into water and it slowly starts spreading, giving a really cool smoke-like effect in the process. This is the first thing that came to mind when I saw him. The paint or ink eventually completely takes over the water and turns it black, which is where I got his show name from. :")

why this photo? This boy reminded me of the 3rd depiction of the horses of the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. Specifically the one that is a black horse carrying a man who carries a scale, he represents famine. Its harder to see him in the picture provided but this is one of the most elegant depictions of the 4 horsemen I have seen. When i saw this dark stallion with red eyes I immediately thought of death and demons but I knew that Famine was the one with a black horse and that's how I concluded that this dark boy would come to be know as such to me.

why this photo?
This is a character from the anime Naruto named Kurenai. I thought that she reminded me of this horse because she has the same red eyes as the horse does. But I also thought of her when I looked at this horse because Kurenai is a strong character that many respect but also have a fear of because of how strong she is. However with her team she is like a mother caring,tough and protective.

why this photo? His shiny black coat immediately made me think of lava, but what really made me think of this picture the secon i saw him was his incredibly red eye, looking so much like the diatreme (the opening) of a vulcan shortly before erupting - liek something dark and maybe dangerous was hidden behind his surface...

why this photo? This is the black vulture. Something about his looks immediately reminded me of this large and somewhat frightful looking bird. While withers looks may not be considered "charming" or "elegant," they have their own deadly beauty about them. This boy's skull face also reminded me of the symbolism of the vulture; that death to some means life to others. I can imagine him having this morbid yet very real belief, and also being portrayed as someone who is misunderstood for his dark looks, outlooks, and personality. I'm also obsessed with big birds, dark colors, and anything with a slightly sinister look to it

why this photo? This is the Oni Genji skin on a man more whole body wise than the actual hero himself. It brings a powerful sense of just what Genji could have possibly become had Hanzo not tried to murder him and he ended up working for Talon. A darker more sinister Genji and an outfit that oozes menace, one that will send shivers down the spines of his enemies. The color scheme undoubtedly played a role in my choosing as this image matches this handsome stallion in some ways ,more than others.
