Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

Personality: Scott may look large and imposing and definitely acts it too as times but is a gentle soft hearted fellow. He uses his size and appearance to intimidate others often unintentionally but relieves their worries with his gentle actions. He is a hard worker doing what it takes to get the job done but always makes time for his friends and family.

Relationship with 2+ family members: Ariel and Scott's soft and mellow personalities mesh very well, better than most siblings actually. They're both non-confrontational and melt together like butter. Entertaining each other in their strange fascinations, stories, and dreams.
Rose and Scott do clash often, as brothers do. Scott is so happy go lucky and uplifting that he is often irritated and brought down my Rose's displays of hate towards others. Rose often describing Scott as a hippy because of his 'why can't we all just love each other' mindset has caused a couple heated debates. Scott does know about his softer inner shell and wishes he'd show it more.

Why is their name important to you? Scott is the name of my late father who I lost 11 years ago come December 28th. I wasn't very old when it happened but the time I spent with him is still some of the best memories I have and ever will have. He was a big guy that looked very intimidating but in reality was a huge softy. My favorite memory with him is every night when he'd get home from work he, my older sister, and I would cuddle up together on the couch, eat ice cream, and watch CSI no matter how late it was.

It was my great-grandma's nickname that she had for most of her life. The day I lost her is one I will ever forget. I remember her love of basketball, mac and cheese, knitting and rose along. I'll always miss her, but at least I got to have her in my life.
personality
A calm laid back dog is what her previous owners called her. Though that was true she also had moments she just wanted to play. Overall she is a motherly figure always wanting to care for the other animals on the farm. Her mind is always set to help the others; this makes her pretty stubborn at times.

This is her favorite sibling she always loved to be around him as a pup. There is no real reason one she just connected with him more than the others.

Overall her and Ariel get along all but, her sister being a tomboy. It only bothers her slightly as she thinks it isn't right. She can bare it though because she loves her sister.
Rose ; Brother
These two don't get along very well; mostly due to she hates how he will not listen to her. She always told him his name shouldn't Matter because mom had a boy name. Though of course he wouldn't listen.

Barkley. In fact the personality below is what I remember him
doing, though I was only young. This dog reminds me of him.

Personality:

This male is crazy, insane and must of completely lost it. Yep, this male is hard to handle. This mischievous lad loves to cause trouble wherever he goes. Hard to handle and never listens to you, he'll often just chase something - not limited to inanimate objects. Playful and energetic this pup will wear a hole in your floor the amount of times he runs up and down. His favourite game! Chasing and snapping at waves! He just loves to cause fun wherever he goes. He is a loving and loveable dog and loves to please everyone. Despite this he can be quite disobedient while he's running loops around others and driving other animals and people up the walls. He isn't good in situation and doesn't know how to take arguments and often tries to avoid them or do something draft to distract them. This pup is also all about the parties and just enjoys messing about and being centre of attention. You could say he can be a bit of a spoiled brat.

A pint size goofball! Barkley adores the little fella. The kid always seems to want to
play with the larger animals and tries his best to compete against the others. Not only
that but this kit knows how to live a little and is like his loyal little sidekick. Barkley
would always defend this little cutie.
