LOVE kalons. Their designs are beautiful, the personalities are amazingly creative, and the community is so nice! Ever since I first saw the thread I have dreamt of getting one, and although I never come close to winning any of the competitions, I still have hope in my heart that one day, I will win one!!!

Sorry if it is bad, I did it at 11:00am with a headache lolAs you walk through the streets of a small canadian town, feeling the wind blow in your hair, you smell the faint aroma of fresh cooked pizza, causing you to subconsciously wander towards the score of the amazing scent. After walking for quite some time, the sent growing ever stronger, you come across a little pizza joint, the large neon sign on its roof labeled 'The Crust' and a blinking OPEN sign at the door. As you open the door, you are hit with a powerful waft of melted cheese and crispy bacon, and as soon as your feet even hit the checkered floor, a large brown kalon runs over to you, talking quite fast, yet very joyfully. "Hey! How are you? Whats your name?" he says, an extremely happy smile spreading across his face. Without eve waiting for an answer, he guides you over to a small booth next to the window and orders the biggest most cheesy pizza you have ever seen in your life. "So, tell me about your travels as a tourist! he says, right before taking a huge bite out of the pizza.

Takala is quite an exuberant kalon, who is never afraid to give a stranger a hug. He is almost constantly talking, may it be online, to his friends, over the phone, or too someone he has just met on the street! Some people say he is a bit too friendly, and some even find him a bit obnoxious, but he tends to shrug it off as 'friendliness side affects'. He is friends with almost everyone in town, and even the people who are normally quite mean give him a cheerful 'good morning!' whenever he walks by.
He grew up in quite a small family in Canada; just him, his younger sister, and his parents. They town they lived was quite small, although surprisingly, there was quite a lot of tourist activity. Each summer they would flood the tiny town, visiting all the shops and buying almost everything in sight. Takala always loved that time of year, since he was out of school and he could just spend all day at the local pizza place, talking to the tourists and hearing about their travels.
Unlike the rest of his family, Takala is very open to almost anyone who has the patience to listen to him, even if only for five minutes. Takala tends to be able to get away with a lot of things, which works out well for him, since he is almost always taking the blame for thing he didn't do. One time, he saw an orphaned kit stealing an apple from a small food market, and being the nice person he is, Takala payed for the apple.
There are some bad things about Takala too however... like the fact that he holds a grudge. While he is very open to new people he has never met, if you backstab him, he will probably never trust you again. This has only happened to him a handful of times... Including with his so called 'best friend'. About 3 years ago, Takala had a huge crush on this beautiful kalon. Her name was Ivory. She had golden fur and lime green eyes, and when he first saw her smile he literally fell over. He had planned out how and when he should ask her out, but when the moment arrived, Salkie... his best friend at the time.. asked her out instead. Takala was completely heartbroken, and he felt horrible knowing that his best friend, a person that he trusted, and betrayed him. The two only dated for a few weeks, but then Ivory moved to america, neither Takala or Salkie have seen her since.
Aside from his overall love of talking to people and making friends, Takala loves food. Specifically, pizza!
The pizza place near his house, called 'The Crust' serves some of the best pizza in the world. It's perfectly balanced; Just the right amount of cheese, dough, and toppings. And as a bonus, as you wait for your pizza, you can play a bunch of old arcade games that the owners of the establishment managed to fix up. Takala absolutely loves going there, since it is quite the hit with tourists and locals alike, and he can almost always meet someone new there.
Takala, even though he is usually busy with the various activities listed above, still makes time for the important things in his life. Mainly drama programs. LOTS of drama programs. When he is not talking to his friends or at the The Crust, he is at the theater; either performing, or getting ready to perform. He finds that being on stage relaxes him more than anything, and the satisfaction of finishing a show always puts him in a good mood. He has performed hundreds of shows, most of them ones that he wrote himself, and although he isn't exactly famous, the happiness his performances bring to the audience is enough to make him feel like he is on broadway.
His town admires him, his friends love talking to him, and even with no fame or fortune, Takala is on of the happiest kalons on earth.
I also have an interactive story where you can talk to Takala, but I'm having quite a hard time posting it.... Which is kinda stupid.
