What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Personality

Sophi is often a mare the second guesses herself and tends to over think things. She isn't necessarily timid bust tends to keep low and to herself. She often has a hard time with learning new things and tends to be skittish. Though once she gets over this she tends to buckle down and so what is needed to succeed! At times she get annoyed with stuck up and proud stallions that think they are all that and will often speak her mind to put them in check. She tends to have a hard time accepting that any stallion would ever fall for her and tend to ignore their declaration of love. Finding a mate for her will be a very hard thing for her. She tends to be a bit bossy at times and put the well being and care for others before herself. She likes to think that there can be an ounce of good in everyone no matter how snobby they tend to be. Sophi from a young age was trained in Vaulting and tends to have stead and sure footing along with takeing commands well. She is very mindful of her rider and love the perform to music and "magic". She loves the more flashy side of performing and tends to like being dolled up as well.

Thought Peach is gray she has a bright heart. She loves to roll in the tall meadow grasses and gently pluck dandelions to nibble on. Occasionally she will make friends with the butterflies and ladybugs that spring up but she is always careful to not hurt the tiny delicate creatures.
