have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

They use potatoes by carving out a kalon shaped skull and using them in potions, along with putting them on homemade steaks to scare away unwanted kalons.

he uses them to try to grow roses! he puts rose cuttings into the potato and then plants it into the ground as if it were a bulb.
he thinks it's moisture and nutrients provides sustenance to it and that it'd help the little bud survive.

What do they use potatoes for?: It gets lonely, and sometimes a guy just needs a friend to talk to. Enter Spud, the potato with two Sharpie drawn eyes and a squiggled mouth. Whenever Louis needs to vent he props this friendly potato up and shares his every fear and dream. Whenever Spud gets a little rotten, he is replaced with Spud 2.0, or as he currently is, Spud 6.0 with new nose red marker upgrade. So long as there are potatoes, there is a Spud, and Louis always has a friend.

What do they use potatoes for?: Sola uses potatoes to research the effects of zero gravity on growing plants! Potatoes were the first plant successfully grown in space and Sola's research group now pairs with NASA to regularly send the potatoes to space. Her main focus in the research is determining whether or not Kal-stronauts could grow their own food in space!

What do they use potatoes for:
Sachi doesn't have a particularly affinity for potatoes, but what she does love is crafts. Glitter, Strings, Glue, you name it she's used it. But she loves to get creative in new ways, especially with food. So to her, potatoes are like a blank canvas. There is so much you can do with them. So much you can make!
An edible mr. potato head? A round, decompose-able painting?
