History/Personailtiy/etc: Lawf was seen by Greenlandic fisherman back in '09, but hadn't seen him again until the winter of '10 helping another fisher's boat past rough, choppy water. Lawf is actually a rare omen to the Inuit people who view his reddish color as a sign that their waters are protected from poachers and invaders.

History/Personailtiy/etc: Kalamu slipped down into the deep, blue ocean. Darkness enclosed her. Above, glittering bubbles rose like birds to the surface of the water, only to burst into nothing. She felt serene here. Four other beautiful narwhals and a small beluga swam beside her. But she knew the young narwhal, Kifa, would bear her young soon. The smell of the newborn baby's flesh would certainly attract orcas. They had to swim quickly and show their horns if they had to deter the killer whales.
