Great Dane (#114)

We found this guy in an old abandoned warehouse; don't ask us what we were doing. They tried to bite one of the staff members hand off, so that was a fun time. After a long war over a span of two days, they were coming to the shelter. Isolated and held in the very back, we're really hesitant when it comes to adopting them out. They growl at strange people and doesn't seem to like other owners, so you best be careful when inviting this guy into your house.

Golden Retriever (#115)

Found alone on the streets and unable to resist a puppy, we took them in. They came easily to us but it seems that they are scared and truly pitiful sometimes. They shy away from other animals and lean away from a variety of things, but they don't move at all. They just lean. We've put them together with another puppy to try and open them up and it's... a bit of a mystery as to if it's working or not.

Rottweiler (#116)

Mistaken as a Doberman at first, we were all mildly to find out we had picked up a Rottweiler puppy on the streets. They're a lot smaller and leaner than their breed, so we think that it might be a mix. Anyway, they're a bit nervous and hesitant when it comes to new things. It takes them a bit to open up, so we decided to clean them up from street muck and put them with the other puppy we'd picked up. We're not sure if this has been encouraging improvement or... nothing ?

What do they think about #115 ?:
Beau actually might very well have a crush on the little Golden. For the sake of names, let's call them 'Rey'. Well, it appears 'Rey' and Beau have been seeing each other for awhile, and by that I mean they have been friends that have played together for awhile, maybe even cuddling with each other from time to time. Oh yes, Beau definitely has eyes only for the little Golden.

What do they think about #115 ? :
Scout really would love to be friends with the other
golden retriever puppy in the kennel with him, but
he just isn't sure how to make friends. Scout was
never socialized so he can get a bit awkward when
meeting other dogs but he doesn't mean harm, he
just wants to make friends ! He can also play a bit
rough but we can work on that !

Meeting with other dogs :
Before submitting an adoption application, I had to
make sure that Scout got along with my other
rescue dog, Echo ! Echo wasn't so sure with accepting a
new dog into the family, but everything went fine !
Scout was a bit shy and wasn't too sure at first either,
but he soon realized that Echo was fine with his rough
housing ! Scout jumped all over Echo for a bit,
Echo tolerating his play. After a bit, Echo laid down,
allowing Scout to crawl all over him and eventually
settle down a bit.

❈What do they think about #116 ?: She is unsure about how she feels about the Rottweiler, Scout was it? Truth be told, she is a bit intimidated by him, maybe even a bit scared to be around him. Though, she is sure that he wouldn't hurt her in a room alone... r-right? Scout is just so.. quiet. She can never tell what is on his mind and it kinda scares her. She might warm up to them if he would just open up more. She really does want to trust him a lot, its just a bit difficult for her.

❈Overall Personality: June is, quite clearly skittish of other animals and things that she is not known to but she wants to trust. Her mind has the tendency to wander into dark possibilities of what might happen in the dark at night. She often gets scared of these thoughts unfortunately. Besides her obvious faults, she loves to be loved by those she knows, including those few close dogs or cats she knows from the kennel. She tries to help best she can, even if its a bit frantic, to help her human if they get hurt in any way shape or form (even if its emotionally over a show character passing).
❈Why is she so skittish?: June has been a very skittish or even paranoid pup, ever since she had an accidental run-in with an intruder from her previous home. She being smaller than average, didn't help back then either. The intruder was a very quiet, yet large cat but all she saw was a large, black shadow with gleaming eyes, walking towards the food bowl and then looking back at her when she whimpered. Even though she wasn't in danger as it was the neighbor's cat, it still scared her half to death and caused her to become more aware of her surroundings, and possibly more scared of them as well.

What do they think about #116 ?: She likes to keep her distance from them, scared about what they'll do. Aly doesn't know if it's just the teeth... or the terrifying looks 116 has been giving them. Aly thinks he seems like someone that would... bully her. Of course, that could be completely false, but she's still frightened by them.
