Hello, Just an update!!!

I am going to be rid of internet for about a week, while I am in a different town and will have no means of communication with anyone so I will be unable to judge this on time, so I am extending this to the 27th!!! Sorry about this! I figured itd be nice for you guys to have more time to work on this anyways!

Ahhhh I finally got the time to squeeze a kalon out, and thought id have fun with them
I really had fun messing with things for this babe, so i hope you guys like them too

For this contest I dont have time to judge a long one, so i am going to do one thats really simple and cliche and for that i apologize, but id love to see how creative you can get, I want to know what his/her job is, and id love to see either a drawing or a 300 word explanation. Not both. If your draw or order art i want to be able to tell about their profession just from the image itself.

she used to live out her days as a saleswoman, pawning off old homes for a good profit. a few
years ago, iris had to go to a meeting with one of her customers. she had to walk home. it was
very late, around 11:00, and she suddenly ran into a strange woman. they awkwardly
locked eyes, and iris quickly put her head down."good evening." she said. she tried
to walk away, but she began to feel tired, and fell to the ground.

iris peeled her eyelids open and yawned. she looked around. she was in a dark place, and it smelled rancid.
suddenly, the top of this place was ripped off and a blinding white light greeted her.
"who is this you bring me?" came a loud, booming voice.
the strange woman from before looked at her.
"this, is your offering. i now believe my debt to you is repaid."
she said. the large, brown kalon bent down and put his handsome face in hers. his gold crown
nearly blinded iris.
"very well. be gone. phosphorous." the old woman bent her head and exited the room.
"to your feet, peasant." the king spat. "now, take her to the forge."
two large kalons wearing armor grabbed her up. iris was too confused to do anything. she had to go down many
flights of stairs to reach their destination. there was a lot of lava, or maybe it was just melting iron. she was thrown
to the ground, and handed a scroll. as the guards left, she read it. the title was, HOW TO BE A BLACKSMITH. she
facepalmed and sighed. this was going to be her new job, she better get used to it.

It is a small town where work is limited so the girls that would normally work in retail or a fast food restaurant are forced to work in the repair shop and it is easy to tell she dislikes this. Her ideal job is mechanical and dirty so this fits her perfectly. She doesn't even only repair cars! Have a lawn mower or stove not working? Phone her up and she'll be their in a matter of minutes. A fun fact about her is she known to the area as "Monster Maddy" due to her once fixing up a monster truck for a local competition. She wears the lantern due to the fact she usually works the night shift and prefers it to normal bulb lights. What can she say she loves what she does and wouldn't change it for the world.

Art or Writing(300words): Seque deals with the coin of the kingdom. She spends her long nights organizing events, and borrowing money from other companies within the capital. It is all for a good cause though, and she knows this. The people need to be happy, correct?
She uses the light from her lamp to flip from one page to the next, scratching off numbers and placing them somewhere else. She finds great joy in counting and organization.

"So what do you do for a living, then, sweets?" The broad-shouldered man stood next to him, leaning on the wall with a cigarette in hand and a smirk on his face. Eirian sighed, folding up his newspaper while he turned to the man, giving him a fake smile. "Oh, not much.~ You know how it is for a girl like me in these times, hardly enough money to go around out there." Dodging the question, he spoke to the man in his unusually feminine voice. He was used to having his gender mistaken like that, but it actually aided in his work.

You see, Eirian was a con artist - a scammer, swindler, hoaxer, trickster - whatever you please, that's what he was. He had plenty of masks - a young peddler girl, a mystic, a street artist, plenty more - hundreds of 'em. He liked his work and he wasn't too keen on letting anyone else get the spoils of it - or finding out about it. He also wasn't too keen on getting thrown into jail or prison or whatever,either, so he stood out of the spotlight. Always moving around, never staying in one place too long. He loved the thrill of the jobs - he wasn't just in it for the money, he was in it for the long con. And he was keen on keeping it that way - he wanted to con for as long as he lived.

"Ha, good answer. I can respect a woman like you, sweets. I betcha you're always keepin' everyone on their toes, fulla mystery." The broad-shouldered man gave a hardy, smoke-filled laugh as he drew his cigarette away from his face. "Guess that's the way I like it, huh.~ I bet you're a butter an' egg man, yourself, but I ain't like that. I'm a big fan of mystery."
