Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. Being thought to be a regal breed, this bab lives up to those expectations. They are a proper hound that likes to show off their stuff. Fortunately, they do absolutely love cuddles in the winter nights (and mornings) and also movie nights! They often try to steal the popcorn but we just give some healthy snacks instead.

Favorite Movie or Movie Genre: Action/Adventure! Leonard loves seeing the hero save the day and loves war era or medieval era movies. He loves a good series even more than a movie though, the unending suspense . . . And when it is over you can start all over again with a new series, or rematch an old favorite and pretend you don't remember what is going to happen.

Personality: Leonard, or Leo, as he if often called, is a daring dog. He is curious about everything and doesn't seem to recognize his limits. He is very confident in himself and rarely shows any kind of shyness or nervousness. He is bold, but not aggressive. He will walk up to strangers, be they human, dog, or even cat and act like they are his long lost best friend. He seems to get along with all animals and will literally sit for an hour or more watching the fish swim in their tank. The only animal he doesn't like is snakes.
Leo is very regal and elegant in everything he does, eating, bathing . . . He loves to wear doggy clothes, especially Christmas sweaters and his reindeer antlers.
Speaking of that sweater . . .

That would be his favorite sweater, full of conflicting patterns!
