Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

Ahh sledding, a prime dog event in the winter. Unfortunately, this sled dog's life wasn't very easy during the competitions. They were pushed almost to their limit at one point during a recent race. Recently, the owner of them suddenly became broke and had to give most of their dogs up. They didn't give all their dogs to us though, only a select few which includes this bab. The spirit of the season gave us a note and a feather attached to it. It said to attach it to his current collar so we did.
PROMPT: Tell me about his difficulty with sledding and the reason why he has a feather attached to his harness! [My Extra Policy]

First time trying this hopefully i did this right and i honestly suck at coming up with stuff XP

Cobalt has always had a difficulty in not being in the lead. He will throw a fit if he was out behind another Husky and refuse to move until he was put in the front of the others. He likes to be in the lead with only just the path in front of him it seems. He has the spirit of a leader.
Why The Feather?:
The feather is to show how he is a free spirit and how he likes to soar high and never give up. He loves to be able to run where he wants and enjoys how the wind flows through his fur when he is with the others or all on his own and that he is a hard worker whom never gives up on anything and give 100% in all that he does. The feather represents his Spirit.

~Sledding Difficulty~He was always getting distracted by things when we was pulling the sled. He would see a bird & try to get it or watch the snow fall & try to catch it in his mouth

He got the feather because it is a eagle feather that shows braveness & strength & he was always one of the bravest dogs on the team. He was also the strongest but never really used his strength because he was always distracted.

Sledding Difficulty: Rain had difficulty because her back legs were staring to get serve arthritis and she had to have some medicine to help it, but since their owner lost money they couldn't get the medicine. Then when Rain had started sled racing she had broken her femur in her left back leg. It's got better, but was still a little stiff.

Why The Feather?: Rain got the feather from her bravery and courage. She helped out a lot of other teammates when she was on her old team. She never gave up and always had fun.

He is the type of dog that usually wants to pull left, and to this day we still do not know why. He would almost never listen to the musher, or follow the lead dog's correct lead, and often when they'd run straight he'd pull away to the left.
Why The Feather?:
Well, you know how birds are said to sing beautiful songs, lovely melodies of hope? Well, the feather was given in the hope that he would have hope in finding a good person to take him in.

Sledding Difficulty: tough. Sledding can be really hard on tyro but he has an unusual love for it. He enjoys the snow beating on his face and his heavy paws denting into the soft snow
Why The Feather?: This feather was Tyros first catch. While training their was a loud bird almost threatening his trainer. He so creeped up on it and snatched it, clamping his jaws down on the bird.
