Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

What a small guy; we were lucky to even notice him on the side of the road. It's been raining and his fur was absolutely wrecked; covered in mud and various other gross things we couldn't identify. We assumed he took frequent visit to neighborhood trash cans. It didn't take much to patch him up; a couple of extremely forced baths and some proper grooming and he was good to go. He doesn't have anything noticeably wrong with him, nothing we couldn't fix to say the say, and so now he's up for adoption ! It's a mystery to any of the workers about what happened to him, all that matters now is getting him a relaxing forever home. Despite being a bit nervous around new people, he opens up rather quickly; especially if you have a toy that squeaks.
