[b]Background: "This stallion was the result of breeding for color. Both parents had negative personalities that were overlooked due to this, and he seems to have inherited some of their issues. His owners wanted him for the arena, and would abuse him when he didn't land them in 1st place, which only added to the negativity. He now fears the arena and can no longer be showed. Once his owners couldn't get him to cooperate they sold him off to a color collector, and he was left alone in a pasture for several years where he has calmed down some. He will need someone willing to spend lots of time with him, building up trust before he will take a halter, especially since he tends to bite at any hand that comes too close to his head. His years of being out to pasture have caused his hooves to be dangerously overgrown and will need to be looked at by a vet and trimmed as soon as possible before it causes lameness."
