have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Welp here it is. Idk if Im completely happy with how he turned out butttttt I kinda also love him. So incase you didnt read the title and are thinking "Kenn what in the world is this based off" Well its loosely based off Wooly Bear Caterpillars.

I love these little guys! They hatch in the fall and are able to survive the winter and theyre soooo cute. Theyre native to the United States and I believe its on both coastlines? If not only the eastern half.

Mallus' favourite part about fall is the way the leaves change and fall. Despite the leaves technically dying, Mallus prefers to view them with a more positive regard-- soon there will be a new start.

This Kalon isn't the biggest fan of bugs, due to their strange texture. Out of them all, Mallus prefers smaller, crunchier beetles, at least over squishy or soft worms.

Their favorite part about fall; Why, erythraean simply adores the colors of fall! Oh, the reds, the oranges, the yellows! All the gorgeous colors of the falling leaves, why, they're all absolutely dashing~ But those aren't the only colors of fall he admires, though. He can't resist the sad blue sky that starts to pale of grey, and the dark brown and black branches of the newly-bare trees that, set in the stark contrast of the pale horizon, give off an eerie vibe. And, of course, he can't forget the deep maroons of the scarves and sweaters, along with the grey and black jackets that start popping up as the weather grows colder. He adores the little street corner cafes, ones with little fancy black gates and outdoor seating that's being taken in before the snow can get to it. He loves the color of the last red umbrella to be left out before first snow fall, the foolish choice of a tired employee who couldn't lift another thing before retiring home. He loves the colors of the season, yes. But he also loves the little stories behind them.
Their favorite bug to eat; Well, the choice is obvious, is it not? Expertly prepared escargot, of course! What kalon could ever be foolish enough to not love it? Of course, then again, there's always roasted crickets to consider. He'd never been a fan of them before, but recently he went to a little cafe that served the most amazing roasted crickets that one could ever taste! Ever since then, erythraean has been {understandably} debating which treat he loves more.
