his adventure wrote:Yoshi was only small, but already excited to go outside and view the world for what it is. His first few steps out included the crunch of dry fall leaves and the smell of apples. He knew he wasn't supposed to, but he looked behind him to notice his mother still sleeping before sprinting off. He ran as fast as he could, wanting to see as much of the world as he could before his mother found him and grounded him for a long time. After running through a path of trees he was surprised to see wildlife other than goblin gators, such as squirrels, birds, and more. He soon realized that he should observe his environment before going any further, and started to gently touch the trees and any surrounding sticks. He noticed that the ground out here was easier to move, unlike the ground in the den which was compacted over many hours of his mother walking in and out. He started to dig, having the time of his life, before hearing something near him. He automatically turned around, expecting his mother to be there full of rage but there was nothing. He turned back around to keep digging but noticed something moving out of the corner of his eye. He slowly approached it and noticed that it was a small bird. "You're one of those flying thingies, right? What are you doing down here, shouldn't you be flying up into a tree or something?" He asked the bird, not aware that it was only a mere child. "Did you run from your den too? Hey, maybe we can travel together!" He said, gently picking up the small fluffy child and placing it comfortable on his back. The bird eventually nestled into the warmth and stopped chirping, content. Yoshi kept walking around, talking to the bird and asking questions but ignoring the fact that he wasn't getting a reply. Eventually, he got bored and went back home, only to quickly sneak past his mother back onto his bed to keep sleeping. He kept the bird with him, nestled next to him, as they slept.
