Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

For this kalon, you must describe what power they wish they had (note that if it is a magical power they cannot ever actually have the power). The power can be magical or more ordinary (ie the 'power' to not be affected by harsh words).

Siloah could never lie. He could never deal with the guilt. If he were to try to fib, his face would turn a bright shade of red immediately. Even in the worst situations, all Siloah can do is tell the truth. Sometimes he wishes he could brace the guilt of lying.

What power they wish they had and why: danzenth wishes he had the ability to control ice. he has always loved the cold, and being able to make icicles and frost from his paws would feel amazing. just imagine being able to make instant snow, or walk across a huge lake that he had frozen. ooh, and just imagine being able to make free snow cones, yum. point is, he would sell his soul for those powers.

Optional extra: glazer was outside on a cold, winter day. he had wore a scarf in this cold weather, while he loved the feeling of the cold, he did not plan to get an actual cold from it. he was going on a walk, but had to stop by once he saw some frozen water. he had been teaching himself how to ice skate, and planned on trying out his skills. he put one paw lightly on the ice, testing to see how strong it was. once he was sure it was thick enough to hold his weight he slid onto the ice, taking careful steps at first. slowly, as he gained more confidence, he started to take some glides across the ice. once he saw that he hadn't fallen, he started going faster. now he was really skating. it felt wonderful. he loved the feeling of the cool air brushing against his nose, the wind howling in his ears, his fur pressed back against the wind. one thing was for sure; he was coming back here tomorrow, and every day of winter.

Words have always deeply affected them, and the only thing they truly want is to no longer feel the intense pain of words, the ability to take criticistim, to stand up to bullies.

My art teacher advised.
I could feel tears starting to build up, and start rolling down my face.
"Are you OK?"
My art teacher asked.
"Y-yeah. It just a bi- it hard to..."
I trailed off.
I felt my art teacher hug me.
"It's ok. It's just a few little things. You don't need to redo it, it's just a pencil eraser and pencil."
Their words helped me a bit, so I wiped the tears off me face, a bit embarrassed.

Beckett was the luckiest kalon. He had money. He had friends.
He was even a little famous for his business of owning a chocolate
store, Scott Sweets. Best of all, he was in love and got love back.
She was a sweet, beautiful girl who was smart and witty, everything
Beckett could hope for. And then he lost it all.
A huge, unexpected hurricane swept his little town, destroying
everything in its path. Beckett was luckily able to flee to higher ground
before evacuation was stopped. His love, however, was not so lucky.
Beckett still mourned her death years after he had reestablished his
store and gotten back on track. He finds it impossible to care for
anything much anymore, now having a cold reputation. His only wish
is to feel as he once did, to be able to love.

even though he already feels invisible. Blue is very shy and introverted, so he doesn't talk
to many people. He wishes he could turn invisible so he could hide from reality.Since he
