why sapphire: this beautiful kalon switched her name from annie to sapphire. she thought that annie was improper for a witch, and she liked sapphire much better. she always polishes her spots, so others know why she is called 'sapphire'.
gender: female
is she a good witch or a bad witch: sapphire is a funny, joyful, and happy good witch. her mother had always scolded her when she had dark thoughts, so she never lied or did bad spells again.
their favorite spell: sapphire may have one of the most uncommon spell in history: giving money and food to the poor. she waves her want over the poor kalon, and a loave of bred or such appears in front of them. if there is a small, young kalon alone on the streets, she cheers the kalon up. sapphire just likes that these kalons respect her, than think that she is a bad witch and poison their food. but it still makes her eyelids droop seeing these kalons so poor and hungry. she usually visits these kalons a lot, trying to make the world the happiest place.

almeda doesn't much care for anyone but herself, and while using magic
to make her own life easier, often creates chaos for everyone else.

their favorite spell:
venit nox, mane in nocte (night comes early tonight)

this creates a small dark bubble in which one can see the stars and moon, and
the sun is blocked out, essentially turning day into night. as well as loving to
stargaze at all hours, almeda has found that moonlight is quite important for a
number of powerful spells. as she is much to impatient to wait for the dusk, and
too lazy to stay up all night perfecting her witchcraft, she finds the venit nox
incantation quite useful to her. however, it creates quite a bit of chaos and
confusion for everyone else; normal, for her brand of magic.

she creates this bubble by laying gossamer thread spun from spidersilk in the
shape of a small half moon, and then tapping her wand of kyanite to it
gently, and uttering the magic words. this creates a bubble about 300m x 300m
that will last for one hour maximum.

(almeda chooses to focus her magic essence into the physical form of kyanite
for three reasons: one, it's pretty, two, it has already existing magical properties
that serve to boost her magic, and three, the stone can be charged by moonlight.)
