This song has been interpreted to be about seeking knowledge and the understanding of abstract concepts such as memory and purpose. The tune is also very loose and jazzy, a music genre I heavily relate with skeletons. Marrow is a laid-back and easygoing brooder. He's always been at the top of his classes, but never did anything with his intelligence. He loves reading and creative writing, but he gets frustrated by how hard it is to come up with original ideas.

Melanie Martinez is his idol, which is why I chose this version.
The song itself suits him because to me it's about everyone thinking you're crazy just for being a deep thinker and being aware of the world when in fact everyone is crazy in a way, it's just a matter of perspective. HIS interpretation of the song is similar and personal because he's perceived by some as a little strange because he's very self aware of himself and most of what's around him, but he's not actually weird. Just pretty smart in a way! But he still feels like he might be a little "crazy".

When bored, Donnie tends to find weird little things that please him. In this time, he's found that his favorite number is 144. 144 is divisible by: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 16, 18, 24, 28, 72, AND of course, 144. It's also a perfect square (a square root of 12), the 12th number in the Fibonacci Sequence, number of inches in a square foot, and a Psalm number (it's ironic that he learned this since he's hardly the religious type).
All these unique and interesting facts about the number has impressed him enough for it to be his favorite without actual research into any other numbers.
Out of all this, his favorite thing about 144 is that it's an even number. Donnie is absolutely obsessed with even numbers, everything has to be 50/50 on either side and have an equal amount. Even numbers that can be divided in half into MORE even numbers makes him crazy excited and happy. He's just a numbers kinda guy.
