I just started getting into horse genes because I find them fascinating and also hope to create a horse species one day, so as I was looking at this fella again I think I found a gene you might have missed.

Wouldn't he also have the Sb1 gene for his sabino markings? Or do you just not bother to add the genes for certain markings and just stick to the coat color?

Where does he get his markings from then? Sorry if I sound really dumb, I just don't understand genetics very well. I'd love it if you explained a bit more! :")

Sabino is a marking that reaches up the stomach, horses can just get markings like these from the parents or other genes, they are just cosmetic and can develope any way.
Some markings can help with these though and add them to the genes of the horse but these are just cosmetic marks. Sorry if I'm really confusing >.<

No, you're fine! I was just confused because a website I found explaining horse genetics (written by an actual breeder) stated that sabino was the thing responsible for Clydsdales having blazes and their stockings. we have posted a lot in this thread, oops. Thanks for explaining though!
