Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Not only is fall intrinsically a beautiful season, but beautiful events are held. Every October, a large group of artists join together and making some spooky art indeed! This fun gorefest is called Goretober! Each day of October has a prompt with rather creative and gruesome themes.
MacKenna is a quiet and stressed kid, so she uses this gory genre to decompress. Goretober has been one of her favorite things to anticipate ever since she found out about it. It's a wonderful way to expand and develop her own art skills and to praise others for their impressive works!

Standing out in the middle of the field, resting
her arms on her hips Ana surveyed the vast
patch of pumpkins in front of her. Breathing
in the crisp air laced with the smell of the large patch,
she began her quest for the perfect pumpkin. Ana's favorite
part of fall has always been the great pumpkin quest. She
loved to explore the vast pumpkin patches, often dragging
her friends along with her for hour (or more) long pumpkin quests.
Ana loved to be out in the open feilds, being surrounded by
pumpkins and the colorful forests made her day.
