Denny has always been a quiet, reserved Xalo. Still, he loves communicating once he opens up a bit. He's rather clever and nimble, being an agile flyer. When he was younger and his group of friends would take trips from the clouds down to the trees to practice gathering, Denny managed to gather the most fruit without running into trees. Although nimble and agile, whenever he and his friends would play fight, he would always be the first one to be tackled and pounced on. Still, his mother and father were very good at protecting him from dangers until he figured he could protect himself. Due to the protective childhood, Denny may be considered a softy. He's almost motherly to his friends, often smothering them and making sure they are 113% a-okay. He may as well be a nurse, at this point.

Denny also has an attraction towards water. Whenever they would visit the ground, his group of friends would often stumble upon bright, crystal blue ponds or rivers. They all loved playing hide and seek around these bodies of water as it was quite rewarding to find Denny. He managed to camouflage himself in any body of water known to Xalos. He's a strong swimmer and loves the cold due to this part of his past. Most of his friends and family can't stand their fur and wings being wet, but Denny loves nothing more than the feeling of the cool breeze of the atmosphere as he flies with wet fur. It gives him a sense of freedom.
