have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

personality,
brayden can be described as an energetic kalon, highly sarcastic in his speech and hardly ever takes thing seriously. but he is extremely protective and watchful of his friends, he'll do his best to take care of them and talk to them extensively if they're having problems. he only wants the best for them so he does his best to steer them in the right direction. brayden is very quick to judge things and is not very open minded, never open to new ideas or trying new things. once he's decided on something he will not change his mind no matter what. brayden is not a very open guy, he doesn't enjoy sharing his feelings often unless he trusts the individual with his heart, even then he doesn't tell all. he can be a bit awkward as well in large crowds, he will try to make a joke trying to loosen the tension. he can also be a bit of jerk when it comes to others asking him "stupid" or obvious questions. though brayden has a rather soft side to him, enjoying closeness with only a select person but even then he doesn't enjoy opening up all the way to them.

biggest dream,
traveling the world, brayden has always wanted to leave his home and go on some big adventure with just the clothes
on his back and a camera. to record and share his findings and adventures as well as share his experience around the
world with others. he doesn't like to stay in one place for long and would like to travel from country to country every
month or so. to get a real feel of how other people live and how they see the world, learning all different types of la
nguages and eating exotic and new food. he finds the idea of it all exciting and he hopes to see almost very inch of th
e earth before he dies. it is his life long dream.

biggest fear,
going blind, brayden's fear is losing his sight. he's always been absolutely terrified by the idea of not being able to see.
completely shuts down when he can't see in the middle of night while trying to find his way around the house, he hate
s the dark and wouldn't know how to keep himself from losing his mind. he would feel distraught at the thought of nev
er being able to see anyone's face again, and having to walk around with help as well as being treated like a child who
couldn't understand something. when ever he thinks about it when he is alone, he tears up. he'd never be able to see h
is favorite things, or experience the wonder on a starry night as he riding passenger side. he wouldn't be able to see th
e lush green forest where he grew up as a child, or get to see the joy on other peoples faces when he goes on his adven
tures. he wouldn't even be able to go anywhere with out someone babying him, and keeping an eye on him all the time.

back story,
brayden grew up in the woods as an only child for a while, he never r
eally got along with his parents so he was mainly raised by his grandp
arents. he grew up playing by himself in the woods, claiming to see g
iants made out of trees and plants that walked around and gathered
water. his grandparents thought he had a wonderful imagination but
the kids that lived in the closest neighborhood to his home thought hi
m to be weird. calling him the "thing" and "it" all the time. they thoug
ht he was cursed and made fun of him when he tried to tell him abou
t the creatures he saw in the woods. he then began to retreat into hi
mself and began to keep to himself. that is the way he has been ever
since, though he's much more talkative and has friends, he still never
tells them about things he feels in his heart or what goes on in his min
d. as he feels he will be judged for it. that is mainly why he sometimes
says sarcastic and mean things, because they are getting too close to h
im. he want's them to back off and keep out of his feelings.
