Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Alexander is a Pirate Captain. Some would consider him brave, others a savage
killer, but in all honestly Alexander is a total nut. He is usually bragging about
his treasures to other Pirate Captains, earning him either a fight for the money
or having to make a mad dash towards the ship. He tends to get himself in the
tightest of situations but always manages to worm himself out of them. He also
always calls himself awesome. He can be very childish but has his moments in
times that call for desperate measures. He is quirky and has a good sense of
humor, and manages to enlighten his crew when they are feeling hopeless or
lost. He tends to flirt lots with the women who live in different ports, and usually
leaves a few broken hearts in his wake. He is very sly with his words and can
rob someone of their money when they aren’t watching. He has a very odd
obsession with seashells, and loves to collect them and keep them hidden away
safely. He dislikes crabs and has a very bad history with them.

extra; Douglas is an esteemed poet, a pad of paper and ink pen stuffed in his overcoats pocket at all times. He more often than not expresses himself through his writing, documenting his inner struggles and intrusive thoughts. Douglas also enjoys traveling out to sea by himself, his creative mind blossoming when he doesn't have to worry about the pressure of pleasing his publishers. It's therapeutic to know that he could escape to the open sea if life was testing him. But sometimes his loneliness on those dark waters became all too much, and this is where his pen and paper come in handy.
