first design as a guest artist!! souper (sorry) happy to be a guest artist and I can't wait to design the rest :'0
alright, since I'm unoriginal and can't think of ideas for contests right now, you'll need to answer a prompt for your form to be counted!! (im updating this so much im sorry)
for this one, you're going to have to draw a picture (or write a story) about their first experience with water, and you'll have a few bonus words to explain how they feel about water as well.
You may not order art, sorry! All art
must go to the winner

Name -- Marella
Gender -- Female
Experience with water (1 piece of art or 300 words) -- A soft and peaceful crash echoed in the quaint forest, the leaves of the trees a mix of musty red and smoldering orange. The leaves danced about the water surface, sliding down carefully onto the surface. A lone Vaiki emerged from the water, disrupting the calm and still flow. She yowled out for help and thrashed around in the water, not able to swim. Starting to break down into a cry, she yelped one last time for someone to hear then was submerged into the deeper part of the pond. A few seconds passed by, and no one was coming for the young Vaiki. Marella struggled underwater, but then felt something move beneath her. Stressfully, she needled at it, pawing the object to see if it could be of help. Suddenly, it floated up and bumped her towards the surface. The thing carried her up slowly until she was to the shore. In disbelief of what just happened, Marella swiftly glanced back at the mysterious creature. She could only make out a shell and two pale feet digging into the dirt to get back in the water. Spitting out water and panting, Marella silently whispered a thanks to her savior. In no time, the minute Vaiki was sprinting towards the direction of the nearest den and calling out to her family. (217/300 words)
How do they feel about water? (100 words, optional) -- Marella has an okay relationship with water. She is still terrified of getting sucked to the bottom of a river or the ocean, but she thinks water is beautiful. As long as she stays at a safe place in the water, she'll be fine. Or better yet, just observe it. Swimming is certainly not Marella's forte, as she can only "doggy-paddle". This Vaiki also adores aquatic life, not just the look of the water itself. When the turtle saved her, she understood that the water isn't all that bad just from one childhood incident. (94/100 words)

Dear Diary,
Today was TERRIBLE. I learned who my true friends are, and who my fake friends are though. Let me explain. We had planned a trip to go boating together, all seven of us. None of us really thought much about it being on the first of April, Well, I guess some of them did. They decided it would be a good idea to leave me and my best friend alone after pushing us out of the boat. They completely left without us- ON PURPOSE! They were laughing as they looked at us trying to stay afloat over the waves. I heard one of them say something. "Losers. That'll get rid of those tag-alongs."
Neither of us are great swimmers... It was terrible! The waves bringing us down, our weight dragging us down, salt in our mouths, barely knowing how to swim. We were really mad, but even more scared. We were a good way out there too. No One could see us bobbing up and down from land. We tried waving, screaming, but nobody heard us as we tried to swim. The waves that didn't pull us under helped push us to shore. We feared that one of us may not make it to land. We were slowly getting closer and closer, gagging and angry. When suddenly, he shrieked. I too found why he was so happy. Rocks. ROCKS. Our feet touched the bottom, and we looked at each other. We ran, ran all the way back to solid, dry ground. They were there. The five of them seemed like they were having a blast, pretending like they didn't dump anyone into the ocean.
--Signing out, Mac

experience with water --okay. you can do this. you can do this.
maybe if she keeps repeating that phrase, it'll come true.
cora didn't even know her legs were capable of wobbling this much until now.
all she wanted to do was lay down on the diving board and grip it as tightly as possible.
but that wasn't going to happen now. she needed to get moving. this board was high up. she felt herself getting sick just by looking down, so she tried to resist it.
however, her fear of heights isn't what she was really dreading. it was coming into contact with that public pool water, where little children and the elderly do their business in, the chlorine chemicals stinging your eyes and going up your nose and damaging your fur, cora could never understood how any vaiki got enjoyment out of that.
thinking about these things wasn't helping her at this point, as she began to question why she was even up here in the first place. ah, that's right. it's all because of her idiotic best friend.
finally, without a second thought and eyes closed as tight as possible, cora finally let herself go and fall from the board into the water, as she was in the air for what felt like a million years, when in reality it was actually only a few seconds. once she'd finally hit the water, she heard muffled cheers and a few "finally!"s from above the water as she floated to the top, desperately pattling towards the stairs.
"so, wanna go again?" said the familiar voice behind her. she turned around to see her best friend tyson, with the most obnoxious smirk on his face.
"you'd have to pay me all the money in the world for me to even consider it."
how do they feel about water? --
cora finds it extremely unsanitary. don't even get her started on the ocean. whales do their business in there! on top of all that, cora is also a huge chemistry nerd and decided one day to see all of the molecules in your average city drinking water, and found several disturbing things to her, such as fluoride in the water. as a result, she now refuses to drink this water and has to go down to a well about an hour away from where she lives to get her water which she drinks and uses in all of her cooking.

name -- Nereida
gender -- female
experience with water (1 piece of art or 300 words) --
It was what you could call a nice day, a little chilly but still nice. Nereida and two of her friends were on a special vacation on an island. She quickly go everything together then headed out and met her friends on the beach. When she got there, she found her friends talking to a boat captain. When they saw her they excitedly came up and told her they a boat tour of the island. She was excited to be able to see the island from the water but she wasn't a big fan of boats. The ride started out calmly and they were seeing the sides of the island they wouldn't have been able to access on land. Soon enough, Nereida forgot she was even on a boat. "Look over there at that bird!" One of her friends exclaimed and pointed towards a tree hanging over the water. On a branch was a brightly colored macaw that squaked then flew back into the trees. They each pointed out more things they thought were pretty or interesting. "wow look at the sky!" "it's so blue!" her friends said and we're busy gazing in the direction of the blue sky. Nereida was smiling as she turned around and looked at the sky behind them and she frowned. "Hey were those dark clouds there when we left?" she asked her friends and the boat's captain. The captain quickly turned the boat to head back but the storm came quicker. Soon the water was rough and the waves were pulling them out to sea. The captain was able to get them back to the safety of the beach and they jumped out of the boat and ran the safety of the hotel. "That was too close."

how do they feel about water? (100 words, optional) --
Nereida doesn't hate water but she doesn't necessarily like it all that much either. She's not very fond of deep water especially. If it's more than 20 feet or she can't see the bottom, she goes into a bit of a panic even though she knows she can swim and she'll be fine. Deep water is what scares her the most. She's usually fine if she's only there for a small amount of time, like if she's tubing or water skiing. she's also perfectly fine with any pools as long as they're not just large bodies of water.

we have a winner! thank you for being patient.
although all the forms were just amazing, one really stuck out to me the most.
congrats to..... Max!
my guest judge and I both believed your form contained an interesting point of view and
was very well written. your development was well portrayed and after reading through the
forms and sitting over it for a little while, yours always kept popping back.
thank you to everyone for entering! it means a lot to me aaa
