[Rabbit]

Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Alrighty! So Oekaki hasn't been working right for me, but I've had this design made for awhile so I wanted to put it up for adoption!

Rue // repentance; regret.

Rich from the moment he was born, Rue had it all. He was a quiet child and he when he hadn't said a word when he reached 6, his family knew something was up. It turned out that Rue was mute, and as soon as his family found out, they hired a tutor to teach him sign language. He tended to steer away from interacting with others and would rather be lost in a book then lost in a crowd of kalons he did not know. And when his family went bankrupt, Rue's reclusive nature grew.

Having dealt with everything he owned being taken from him, Rue knew he never wanted that to happen again. He became sneakier, hiding his money and belongings away from others. He stayed in his room more often and when he did leave the house, he came back with things that weren't his. He doesn't know why he steals; small toys and packs of gum just find their ways into his hands. He feels bad about it, he really does, however the urge he gets to steal is hard to control.

Employment wise, Rue is a known job hopper, moving from workplace to workplace every couple of months or so. His current, and so far longest, job has been at the city library, as a part time librarian, and Rue can say with certainty it's his favorite. Really, the only downside to the job is having to interact with other kalons. As an avid reader, Rue enjoys the benefits of being able to take out any book from the library. And if one goes missing every so often, it's okay because they can just re-order it! Or at least that's was Rue has been telling himself.




Currently, Rue lives in a rundown apartment that he shares with 2 roommates. Both roommates know about Rue's stealing, however none of them bother to speak up about it. One of roommates, Hyssop, if usually trying to drag Rue out of the house and into the world, in attempt to get him to open up more. Rue appreciates Hyssop's attempts to draw him out of his shell, however the latter's personality tends to be a bit too excitable for Rue and often he needs time to himself after they're done hanging out. Lazarus, his other roommate, tends to keep out of Rue's business and as such, Rue keeps out of his. They don't have much of relationship, other than sometimes the two will sit together on their shared couch and read for hours on end. Usually, Rue acts as a voice of reason between the two, calming them down when they get out of hand.
