Kalon's childhood dream:
⇤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx⇥
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Pyro felt the heat of the rising flames against his vibrant fur. He stared the fire down, brows furrowed in an intense concentration as the fire licked the sky with its many tongues. A hazy smoke rose from the fire as though it were alive and breathing; it was a warm echo of the fire’s strength, a symbol of its power. And Pyro controlled it all.
He watched the fire dance, first darting to the left before swirling back to the right. It rose and fell at his command, and when he wished, it would grow warmer and warmer until it became the dazzling blue that covered parts of his fur. It was almost as if he and his flames were a single soul.
♨
Almost.
♨
Deep down, Pyro knew that this was a dream, for he had lived it many nights before. When the moon and stars lulled him into a deep sleep and the weight of the night overcame his tired eyes, it was shades of red and orange that encompassed his mind. He became accustomed to the raging heat, not minding when stray embers leaped to kiss his fur. And when the fire grew to a frightening size, towering over him like a predator, he would simply breathe in and out, reminding himself that it was under his own control.
From a young age, Pyro had felt drawn to fire. He was well aware of its danger –he had been scorched numerous times- but he was also aware of its beauty. The flames could burn, sure, but they could also dance. And if he could dance alongside them, then perhaps he too was beautiful.
Now, Pyro took his chance to dance with the fire. He leaped and twirled and laughed around the flames, and the fire seemed to dance in response. Pyro’s blue and green eyes reflected the fire’s red and oranges, and his heart burned with joy. He was one with the fire, even if only for the night. And as the heat began to fade and the fire was replaced with smoke and coals, Pyro closed his eyes and smiled.
“So long, my friend,” he whispered. “I’ll see you when sun sets again.”

Kalon's favorite color and why:
⇤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx⇥
For probably obvious reasons, his favorite color is red. But it isn't reduced to a single shade; instead, it it all shades that can be found within a fire. Ironically enough, he feels an attachment to the color despite it being one of the few colors that can't be found within his fur.
