"Stop!! Thief!"
The old female kalon gave a desperate cry as a red and white shape ran from her, ears flat. But her face looked triumphant, holding a delicate golden chain necklace in her paws. She had gotten what she had come for...now all she could do was run, and just hope that the officers, who were bound to show up, wouldn't be able to catch up.
"Stop right there, miss!" Anouk ignored the barking tone of someone hot on her path, running for her life...why had she resulted to such means to go and steal from another kalon? This was way too valuable to pass up...the kalon had been weak and frail, anyhow.
"Stop being stubborn and give that back, then we wont have to lock you up!"
"Hah, funny you say that, officer!" Anouk turned, flashing a grin as the dark pelted officer running to grab her and take her under arrest. "It would be nice to sit here and chat...but I have somewhere I need to be."
She turned, and before the officer did manage to get to her, she took a running leap to one of the buldings in the now-empty street, grabbing onto the windowsill of one, before making her way up, not looking down.
"Hey, get down here!"
"Not a chance!" Anouk called, soon reaching the roof and pulling herself up. She then peered over the edge, to see that the officer had found a latter, and was now climbing his way up. She flicked her ears, before the red pelted kalon took off, running across the roof to the other side, she had to act quickly if she wanted to get away with this new prize of hers...
"I've got just the trick!"
She quickly dug her hands into her pockets, rummaging for a bit before pulling out a necklace - much like the one she had taken, although it wasn't real gold...and looked a little rusty. She would just set it here, and be on her way...
By the time that the officer got to the top, and took the fake necklace back, she was long gone, free to take another day.

By the late hours into the night, Anouk reached her small cottage in the woods, and unlocked the door, quickly going in and shutting it behind her. She was exhausted, her chest heaving...but she had run home after all. The kalon headed to the kitchen and switched on the light, revealing a small table with a piece of paper, where she went, grabbing a pen from a holder on the way before crossing off a name on the list, as well as an item name. She then reached into her pocket, grabbing the necklace, and she rubbed her thumb over it gently, smiling. She then looked at a picture frame on the table, which held a picture of a kalon similar to her appearance.
"Don't worry Ma...I'll get them all back for you."
