Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

See, when I first met Laz, they seemed kind of... For lack of a better word, dull. I won't say they were boring, but... Okay, yeah, they were pretty boring. Hanging out with them wasn't exactly my idea of a good time, although once they lightened up and started cracking some jokes, they were alright in my book. One wouldn't expect it at first, but Laz definitely has quite the sense of humor. They've got an awful habit of telling the same joke a bunch of times, though honestly the delivery on some of them cracks me up every time.

"Oh, you want to know about Oli? He's a nice kid. Smart, courteous. He's a bit too loud for my taste, though. He tends to make a lot of noise, but apologises, so I don't mind. I've never actually talked to him... But from what I've seen, he looks to be a real people-person. He loves huge crowds and being the center of attention. Oddly enough, though, not a lot of people like him. They find him annoying. In a way, he kind of is. He's too full of himself. When he isn't the star, he gets a bit... Violent. He has way too many rivalries with others and always happens to the hated one. Poor guy. He's not THAT bad."

"Describe Estrella? I would start with one thing, she loves herself, almost as much as she loves others. At any chance she gets she'll talk about herself, but she never puts herself above others. She loves to talk about what she does, who she saw, sometimes its all she'll do, but whenever someone is sad she snaps and they are her priority. She's very loving, almost a motherly type, always watching over her friends and loved ones. Estrella is an amazing baker, bakes for anybody who needs it. Estrella has a good sense of humor, generally making us laugh. She enjoys to spend late nights up with others and is a big fan when it comes to sappy romance movies. Estrella is a little reckless with her emotions, easily hurt and influenced, but she has a good heart."

"You wanna know about Austin? Alright… That man is intimidating! If looks could kill, everyone would be dead by now. He tends to get angry pretty sometimes and usually keeps to himself… I dunno whats up with that, though. Sometimes I see him laughing and talking but then again his eyes are always the same, cold and sharp. Then again I am not that close to him… We are just acquaintances, after all. He is always talking about his pets, too ! I never see him not talking about them. Kinda odd, if you ask me."
